Congrats Vasani!!!

Welcome to NVC and smooth sailing there to interview! It will be over in no time, compared to the many months of VSC

I don't think the congressman was any help in terms of expediting this, but they were a great moral support and gave me a better insight into this process. I highly recommend those waiting for their approvals contact your congressman, but don't have high expectations unless you have a genuine expedite criteria or are outside of processing times....

anyhow, i am besides myself now.....NVC here I come!!!!!!!!!!!!

I received this notice via e-mail today at 2 PM when I was least expecting it. It's amazing how life has ways to surprise you when you least expect it!

Thanks all. I think I am fully prepared for the NVC. Barring any unforeseen issues, I hope to be done with NVC before Christmas.

I thin last week when I saw charisma and wisdom getting approved, it brought me a lot of confidence that I'll be approved by the end of this week. And then, the call to VSC on Friday sealed the deal. the super nice lady officer wanted to tell me, "hang in there you are almost done here", but she couldn't. However, I sensed it in her voice/tone. It felt unexplainably comforting after speaking with her. I realized that my apporval should be just around the corner.

I forgot all about Friday's convo with vsc officer since I was taking a tough securities licensing exam on Monday. After finishing the exam ( and failing it) I was feeling pretty sad, but wasn't thinking of the approval and neither was expecting to see those two txt messages from my email address. As I pulled my cell phone out of the locker, I realized that there is some sort notification on the screen. It was like floodgates were opened for my hopes all over again and this time, the hopes turned into reality. The feeling afterwards was surreal. I had no idea who to call and to say what. :)

Anyhow, I think my future kid is gonna when she/he finds out that I waited for approval more anxiously than her/him. :) j/k.

I'll be around, but not as frequent as before. I really honestly hope that all of those waiting from feb/march group gets the good news soon. Feel free to PM me any time.

desiman - what happened with your RFE? did you get it in the mail yet?

I received on Saturday and I sent it in today. It was regarding the G-325A form for both of us.

desiman - can you please share what it was about on your 325a?

CJ-V, i can say the same for u :) your patience for all this time has made me keep my cool...anyway...i hope things are easier from here.

Sure. I guess I read the instructions wrong and didn't fill in some of the things (the redundant info) and so they asked that I fill that in and resubmit.

CJ-V, is time for u to start the december approvals thread, on yr way to NVC. and hopefly we join u soon. and the dust collectors at VSC thread will change to speded up with fairy dust at NVC, and we'll be there soon to enjoy it with u.

SraCastillo, dont worry. I think u should be next one announcing the NOA2 here. I really wish u that. I think what held u back was the late date for I129f (honestly I think ud have been better off without it), but keep being optimistic, and maybe u get an early Christmas gift from VSC. u probably have pesimistic days like the rest of us, but the pic u have here looks so smiley and yr posts always optimistic, that it kills my pessimism everytime. I wish I can read yr adventures in NVC threads very soon. good luck

and Desiman, look at the bright side. the RFE means yr file is on their desk. the VSC it will very soon be over for u too.

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!
