Can somebody PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE tell me what's up with the Vermont Service Center??????? I just checked the USCIS website & it seems that they changed the processing time AGAIN!!!!! Except this time they didn't move forward.... they went BACKWARDS!!!!!!!! What's up with that????????? This is what it says for K-1 Visa Processing Time in Vermont:

I-129F Petition for Alien Fiance(e) K-1/K-2 - Not yet married - fiance and/or dependent child March 07, 2008

Excuse me?????? WHAT'S UP WITH THAT?????? I'm so frustrated with all these people already!!!!! It seems that just when we move 1 step forward, they move us 10 STEPS BACK!!! Someone PLEASE help me understand what all this is about. :crying:

Someone has said before that the processing dates are set to the very earliest petitions they received that they haven't processed yet.

It could be just one or a handful. And, it could jump ahead the very next time.

I tend not to go by those processing times too much cause they don't mean everything in how your petition may be processed.

Hang in there!

I don't know if this is the reason but I had an Info pass in St Paul MN last Friday and was told that uscis was just working to get the citizenships done so those people could vote in this past election. So now they are way behind with the others.

Which proves the points I just made above.

If you call, they are just going to quote what the web sites says.

that stuff will drive you crazy. Remember, you are in God's hands! He is greater than the USCIS. All that stuff doesnt mean much. Trust God, He will get you through it, will be by our side the whole way, and get you where you need to go. His timing is not our timing, but its always perfect! Rest in His peace! God bless u! :luv:

the processing time changed several times when we were waiting for our noa2 and it was always backwards. i don't know why it moved forward to 6 months recently but they obviously decided that it needed to go back to where it was. pay attention to the dates on your timeline here on vj and try to stay positive. i know it probably doesn't seem like it now but you'll get there in the end and it'll all be worth it.

Regardless of what the processing times say on the USCIS website, we all know it is running about 5 months to receive the NOA2 from the time the NOA1 is processed. So no point in really worrying about things until those 5 months have passed, not much else we can do, and other people have managed to wait that long. Soon it will be our turn.

I just becomes hard if the dates don't change. It's really hard for me. My wife is on the other side of the world. The time difference is 11.30 hrs. When i am up she is sleeping and when she is up I am ready to go to bed. Sometimes is hard to manage financial too.

My waiting time:

I130 - 278 Days = 9.26 months

I129 - 252 Days = 8.40
