Wow...that's what I've found...people don't just have a pic of them on it...they have some sexy posed, professional looking pic...but I think that's just for those of them looking to hook up?? I dunno - it's a strange strange place.

I finally had to give in recently but haven't dressed mine up at all.

My daughter had been trying for ages to get me on there, and then some of my co-workers from another facility told me they were on there and wanted me to join, so finally I gave in.

LOL the co-workers apparently used to have a group on there, for them all to gripe about work after hours. Two of our managers found out and threatened them!

I detest MySpace. It's far too "Like, OMG Becky!!!11" for me. I do have blogs, though, simply because Sian and I have a large group of friends spread out over the globe who want to keep up with our lives and progress.

My first blog (and I resisted blogs for years....just caving in this February) is at Yahoo 360°. My current blog, and the only one that really gets updated, is my own. I got tired of Yahoo logging me out every 24 hours, gave them the finger, and installed blog software of my own.

I also installed photo album software recently; the same used here at VJ....Coppermine. Seemed like a good idea at the time. There are only a few pics there at the moment, but you get to see a few of Sian that aren't in the album here, as well as pics of the gutting and resurrection of my house. yay. fun. lol

I much prefer LiveJournal to keep up with my friends, MySpace is to busy with horrible webdesign for the most part, IMO.

LiveJournal is simple and easy to use.

I DO have myspace and I think it's just another way to have fun and keep in touch with friends that are far away! Since you are attempted to the dangers that ANY website like this can represent and teach your teenagers about this, it's such a nice thing... Never had problems!

I got one too . Now.... I see a lady a know she has pictures of her mayybe 15 years ago,,,I did not even recognize her. I think she and many are being fake.

I had to get a myspace because I go to school and they all have one, thats where my friends post blogs and new pictures of them, pictures from a wedding or from the trip to Vegas. It is fun to have, even though theres not much action on mine nobody ever writes me I now start to believe that it is lowering my self-esteem
