Let me make a suggestion:

Don't meet people on-line, the Internet has become a breeding ground for scammers.

Book a trip to Philippines, it will change your outlook on life.

So many beautiful woman there , and the people in general are very friendly and happy.

For me it was refreshing to look at a crowd and see the woman all with coke bottle figures.

Good Luck

Good to know your shopping spree for a wife was successful

Now, think twice before you post- a high percentage of us met our spouses online. Jerk.

Oh dang l missed all of the fun while at work

Well this is what happen someone posted that they have a coke and a smile and a few of us who dont like coke and met our loved ones ONLINE posted that we do not care to much for coke. and IF we wanted coke we can find coke online that WONT ask for money or scam us. So then the gloves came off (AND i never realized LINT can get stuck between your fingers!!!)

HAHA ANYWAY!

I never have had to send Kai money..HE sends ME money to help with bills and HIS share of the rent.

Like someone said scamming is EVERYWHERE and there are high fraud countries.

I mean of someone wants to go hunt down a bride they can that is not the point..BUT many here HAVE met there lovedones ONLINE and are very very happy.

I gotta say that the person who posted that needed to RETHINK his wording because I can tell you several stories and show you DATELINE and 20/20 where men and women were scammed by someone they met FACE TO FACE and in person

maybe post a pic of her and we'll see if ken knows her.

 Charles!

tallcoolone, we are all well aware that you love PI women and think they are 'the best in the world' and well... good for you... but it's really very tasteless and ignorant to suggest the things you do in your posts. I know I wouldn't be too happy if my husband grouped me in a class with all women from America. It would make me feel 'replaceable' and not very unique in his eyes. You may want to consider your wife's feelings before posting such things.

In regards to internet romance. Well, firstly.. it's probably not the most tactful thing to say to an online forum of people who a great majority have met via the internet. I met my love 11 years ago online and truly got to know and love him from the inside out. All these years later, I would not trade that for the world! Communication is the key to any lasting relationship... not someone's figure.

For someone who sounds as though (and has said in the past) that you'd just fly over to PI for another one if this one doesn't work out... well, it really doesn't make you the authority on relationships. Please have some tact when you post and know that what you say often offends many people here.

To everyone else, lets please try to ignore that post and refrain from name calling and get back on topic.

To the OP... just my opinion but I would report her. ;)

I met my coke bottle online, and she's never asked for a single jiao (penny) from me. In fact, when I first visited her, and she hardly knew me, she gave ME money. I had gotten to the airport late and the bank there was closed (small airport), and I couldn't exchange my money. So, she paid for my cab ride to my hotel, bought me dinner, and paid for several nights at my hotel (they didn't accept foreign credit cards). When I finally got my money exchanged, she didn't even want me to pay her back. I did, of course.

I think the asking for money should raise a big red flag. Report her if you can, post her photo on http://dontdateherdude.ning.com or http://www.dontdatethis.com/ddtgirl, take it as a hard lesson learned, and may you find a girl who's actually interested in you, instead of your wallet, in the future. :)

Ooooh mannnn.

In response to the coke bottle guy:

First of all, like many others on here, I also met my fiance online (on eharmony actually). We learned to truly love each other for who we are, and I'm glad my fiance didn't pick me because I was some "coke bottle" shape or whatever.

You need to fall in love with that person not with just their exterior, because who that person is what sticks around while physical looks fade with time (let's face it, when you get older, you don't look as great lol).

So what are you going to do when your "coke bottle" woman gets old and she may no longer look as great or as shapely? Sorry pal, you can't recycle her and get your 5 cents back. Sooo, I really hope you love her for more than her appearance.

August 11th, 2007: Peter and Susan start communicating on eharmony :D

December 29th, 2007: The first meeting! Susan flew to England to meet Peter. Fell in love :)

I am sorry this happened to you. It's better you learn now and move on. I would certainly report it to the Agency that you met her on. If you are interested in Colombianas, don't let one bad apple ruin it for the rest of the Colombianas.

 Someone tell me I didn't actually just read this on here???

I am one of many on VJ that met my wonderful fiance online, Myspace to be exact, and I'm very happy I did. We didn't meet in person for three months and during that time we got to know each other so well that when we met in person it was as if we'd known each other all our lives and we instantly knew we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. Whether you meet your SO online, in person, through your grandmother, a dating service or whatever, how they look should be the least of your worries! I for one want a man that loves me for ME...NOT just for my looks. And thankfully I found a man who loves me not only for my personality but also for my full figured self!

OP - I'm so sorry that you've had to go through this...I hope it doesn't discourage you! I firmly believe that there is a perfect someone for each of us and you WILL find your soulmate!

Hugs, Liz

Hi,

I recently found out that my "fiancee" is a scam artist who was not only engaged to me but other foreign men at the same time. I had been sending her money on a monthly basis since she accepted my marriage proposal, but have been growing increasingly suspicious as to why she kept delaying sending me the paperwork to begin the K-1 visa. After flying all the way down to Colombia to visit her I learn that she has been dating other men, is living with another American man who she has been engaged to almost since my last visit, was engaged to yet another American man at the time I met/began dating her thru a marriage agency, and had been engaged 4 times to foreign men prior to me, and regularly requests money from foreign men.

Lucky for me I found out before applying for a K-1 visa. My question is, should I report her to INS incase she ever applies for a K-1 visa in the future and would it do any good if I did? I don't want her to do to anyone else what she has done to me. And would any action I take negatively affect me if I should apply for a k-1 visa in the future? Would it be best to just right it off as a learning experience and move on?

yes u should

and u should also report her in american embassy at colombia

this kind of women need to be bunished and learn the leasson very well

or other american man will be in yr place and never find out she cheat him

I have to agree a little. LOTS of scammers online . However LOTS are having successful relationships and met online. Dain't over tho until they get GC tho. LOTS of smart scammers. Probably better to meet thru relatives

First one I met online turned out to be a scammer. Second thru a relative and I'm happily married so far..

Also I enjoy walking down the street in cities in the Philippines. 99.9% tight buttes in faded jeans. Easy to break your neck.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!
