Let me make a suggestion:

Don't meet people on-line, the Internet has become a breeding ground for scammers.

Book a trip to Philippines, it will change your outlook on life.

So many beautiful woman there , and the people in general are very friendly and happy.

For me it was refreshing to look at a crowd and see the woman all with coke bottle figures.

Good Luck

Wow what a good way to p!ss off me and a whole lot of other people.

I guess those who married women from other countries are SOL because they are not very friendly and happy

I guarantee you there are scammers in the Philippines, just like there are very happy and friendly people in other countries in the world.

The world is made up of more that the Philippines

I don't know if you noticed but there are plenty of our fellow VJers who met online and are happy in their relationships ;) Kind of insensitive of you to suggest that all of them are scammers.

Im very sorry to hear of your ordeal and as some here have said....you always have the option to report her.

Visiting the other country and family of the one you meet (whether online or otherwise) is required and highly recommended, manditory if you will. And if you ever plan on filing visa papers, spend as much time alone with their family and freinds, with eachother also......you learn alot. And be honest with yourself and eachother.

Be happy that this whole process takes awhile to complete... You find out alot about the person you are planning on marrying during this process. Jenny and I have been so blessed! The one thing I Love about my wife (and there are many, many things) is that she has 'never' hinted and/or asked for money or things, even to this day.

First off, I am not happy to hear that comment made about coke bottle figures and not being able to meet women or men online. My fiance and I have been together for a while and we are in communication all the time. We just KNEW! Now I feel as if we've been together forever even though we don't see eachother all the time. I admit Philippines is awesome. My mom works with a lot of the filipina ladies. BUT you can't hate on the internet just because you got yourself a lady over in the Philippines.

I would say, report her however you guys met. Even if you can get their authorities involved [in her country] I would take every step I can to stop her from doing this to anyone else. I'd give USCIS a call anyway and see IF you can do anything otherwise...take everything else you can :)

And for the finishline, yes you can find yourself beautiful and coke bottled figures on the internet if that's what you're looking for. But go for the heart first. If she was sincere, she wouldn't have you sending her $ like that. Go for a real woman who likes to be taken care of but can hold her own. But I wish you the best of luck and stay strong! I hope you learned a lot from this experience but don't give up on love cuz it's out there. Just let it come to you when it's time :)

Hi,

I recently found out that my "fiancee" is a scam artist who was not only engaged to me but other foreign men at the same time. I had been sending her money on a monthly basis since she accepted my marriage proposal, but have been growing increasingly suspicious as to why she kept delaying sending me the paperwork to begin the K-1 visa. After flying all the way down to Colombia to visit her I learn that she has been dating other men, is living with another American man who she has been engaged to almost since my last visit, was engaged to yet another American man at the time I met/began dating her thru a marriage agency, and had been engaged 4 times to foreign men prior to me, and regularly requests money from foreign men.

Lucky for me I found out before applying for a K-1 visa. My question is, should I report her to INS incase she ever applies for a K-1 visa in the future and would it do any good if I did? I don't want her to do to anyone else what she has done to me. And would any action I take negatively affect me if I should apply for a k-1 visa in the future? Would it be best to just right it off as a learning experience and move on?

I think it would be better to report her to the Embassy where she might be interviewed in case she would be applying for visa, i.e., if she would.

"BUT you can't hate on the internet just because you got yourself a lady over in the Philippines."

Yeah Filipinas are nice. Mostly. But the OP didn't say the girl is from the Philippines. He said COLOMBIA.

And to others, again, scammers are everywhere. And Coke body is everywhere too..
