Consulate Review: Manila, Philippines
Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : November 4, 2008
Embassy Review : Interview went very smoothly. The pre-screening interview was short and the lady was very friendly and helpful. The consular officer was as friendly, too. She took the time to exchange pleasantries with me and my daughter making us feel comfortable with her. She was very efficient in going thru thru the documents we submitted and while she tended to ask questions while typing something on her computer, she seemed to have heard everything she would smile every now and then. Done in less than 10 minutes and felt relieved I was assigned to an efficient, friendly but business-like consular officer.
Rating : Very Good

POE Review: Washington DC
Event Description
Entry Date : 2008-10-26
Embassy Review : Except for the long queue in the immigration line, everything went very smoothly. No questions were asked but the documents inside the visa packets were thoroughly checked. From the time our documents and our passports stamped to the time that we passed thru the Agriculture line, we were done in less than 15 minutes. The officials there were likewise very friendly and helpful.
Harassment Level : Low

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
