Who else here watches his show Bizarre Foods? I'm addicted to it but I'm trying to figure out why I'm so attracted to a show involving a man eating disgusting foods. Yesterday the Travel Channel had a sort of marathon with his shows and in Phucket he ate balut and then some other strange disgusting foods. I loved IT!

It's like watching auto racing - we want to see the wrecks... in Zimmerman's case, we're secretly looking for the gag-reflex... :dead:

I LOVE his show. Its Zimmern. Not Zimmerman, btw. ;)

Although last week he was in Los Angeles and I was disappointed at the places he chose to show! Still love it though! I don't know why its fascinating to see a guy eat crazy things. Some of the things he eats I would NEVER touch. Some I am curious though..... hehe

You mean why put a worm or a leech on your fishing hook when you can eat it?

My husband and I watched the Morocco episode together last year and he was shocked that Andrew hated this dish called "khalia" because my husband says how delicious it is. I've actually never tried it so I don't know who to believe. hehe

And its funny because Andrew usually likes practically everything!!! *barf*

I love it and watch it whenever I can. I have noticed outside of his arch nemesis (durian fruit) he tends to be more like to dislike drinks/liquids than anything else. I've seen him make faces and call drinks 'revolting' more often than any solid food.

I love that show as well! Btw, the balut is actually from the Philippine episode (I'm a filipino LOL). I guess we'll all be watching the Halloween Special.....the tarantula on a stick gives me the creeps but I still like to see him eat it....better him than me. :D
