NVC case completed in 4 days!! From the time they recieved the package until they completed it. Am now only waiting for appointment date for interview.

Check out our timeline...less that two and a half months from mailing of I130 until completed case at NVC. We are very lucky and very thankful for the speedy process.

Help me out here people...maybe they teach math different in the Philippines but I count 45 days from when NVC got their case to when there case was complete....

No, you math is correct...I meant that ti took 4 days for DS230 to be recieved and approved. Which is the major portion of the NVC process.

Ahh I see. Congrats still. For us the longfest part was getting the INN. If we could o gfot that earlier we would of been almost a week ahead of were we are now.

First of all, CONGRATULATIONS.

However....most of us consider the NVC process as starting the date they receive your case.

It's too late now, but your topic should say DS-230 to Case Complete in 4 days.

It's important that that we are as accurate as possible in the information we publish

and the expectations we effect.

but you raised a false alarm...your case at NVC was completed at NVC in about 50 days (not 4 days) which is just about the average time it takes if u do everything right.

I don't know that the DS230 is the bulk of their processing, really. If it weren't for an RFE on my AOS we probably would have completed in even less time than we did. NVC is very fast when you've got all of your ducks in a row (and you're not from a middle eastern country).

MsZ didn't mean anything except that it's common knowledge that more often than not, MENA applicants are unfairly scrutinized more severely.

Some of our best friends and some of the best people on VJ are MENA.

MsZ was also correct in that this post really does falsely excite expectations. It's everything UP TO the DS-230 that's really time consuming.
