Firstly, $250k is not a huge amount of money if you live in a metro region where EVERYTHING is expensive and the average house is $1m. It definitely does NOT make you rich. Secondly, I dont give a flying hoot about the vast majority - Dems would do absolutely nothing for me so they can f##k off.

Well 94-98% of the rest of us earners under 250K don't seem to be that bad off.

Besides, this is a tax income bracket. Not the rest of that 2-4% of RICH Americans are making JUST 250K, but many can be making quite a substantial amount MORE than 250K- much of it tax free.
