There was this show here in AMerica...I think only one season. IT was the guy who owns the VIRGIN stuff...including virgin airlines it was all these people running around doing anything he told them to in order to win.

They always flew Virgin Air and it always looked sooo cool.

I would fly it if I ever had the chance :) BUt they don't fly TO Australia I don't think.

Finally finished with immigration in 2012!

***remved per OP's request.

Thanks Shele...we usually fly Brit Airways too, but the fare was over 200 bucks cheaper for this special rate we got..he nearly has the money for that already, but is going to keep working for the next 2 weeks to have some money when he gets back here. :) Thx tho...maybe Christina & Sujeet or someone have used this airline before...we'll see. M. (F)

We haven't used Air India, but would have if it was the best deal for our routes. I've only been on Delta and Air france recently, even though people don't seem to like them, I usually just go for the cheapest flight no matter who it's with. :P Sujeet was on KLM and MartinAir in Feb/March and liked it, and when he moved to the US it was British air and American. But we don't have much to compare it too as neither of us has flown a lot. We always go for the pretty much the cheapest option. :star:

Michelle, I have not been around much... and rarley post other than in baby corner, But I have kept up with you and Craig's experiences. I have to give both of you so much credit on being open on here about your relationship....it's up's and downs. I just want you both to know that with this I hope it becomes a healing tool for you both and will only make your relationship stronger!

I can only speak for myself, but your openiness has been a learning tool for me as well. I have been able to talk with Andy about you and Craig's journey and it has opened the doors to conversations that has maybe eased Andy's adjustment here in the states.... I just want to say thank you to both of you... and may you both be blessed with much happiness... I wish you both nothing but the best!!

BIG HUGS.... Patricia

awwwwwwww thanks Patricia, that was sweet. This thread originally started as just letting people know because they were sending 'yay, I bet you're so happy Craig is coming back today posts' and I didn't feel like responding individually...now it's become a countdown to his return... I won't ever make the mistake of the "Immigrant's Nightmare' type thread 'blogging' again, but I'm glad it helped you and some others as well. :) Until it got ugly, it really did help me in terms of just getting it OUT, and support. Things are going very well at this MOMENT, but we know there will always be difficulties from time to time..anyone has that...but we really feel we are turning a corner. Would be difficult to convince anyone of that who has read our story tho, and won't even aim to try. After all, it's only really important that WE know and communicate, and we do...a LOT! Regardless, I won't be 'blogging' about it anymore when Craig gets back, but I will check in on 'us' ocassionally... SOME people really do seem to care and be interested. :) We're ready to just get on with 'normal life' now...whatever THAT is!! Thanks for the support, and glad if it helped even the tiniest bit! ..... :) M.

Normal? What is normal?

Anyways I am really glad Craig will be home to you soon. I am sorry that some people have made you feel you need to censor what you wish to post about. I think every immigrant has adjusting they must do. Some things right away .. some over time. Sometimes it is things that seem so trivial but then again might turn out not to be (I am currently worried my husband might suffer from heat stroke or something). I hope that when Craig comes back this time, he feels more of an adjustment and that homesickness is something that occurs only when away from you.

IK HOU VAN JOU, MARK

Take a large, almost round, rotating sphere about 8000 miles in diameter, surround it with a murky, viscous atmosphere of gases mixed with water vapor, tilt its axis so it wobbles back and forth with respect to a source of heat and light, freeze it at both ends and roast it in the middle, cover most of its surface with liquid that constantly feeds vapor into the atmosphere as the sphere tosses billions of gallons up and down to the rhythmic pulling of a captive satellite and the sun. Then try to predict the conditions of that atmosphere over a small area within a 5 mile radius for a period of one to five days in advance!

:D I'm glad he's on his way back.

Your first posts about his trouble adjust to life here kind of made me wake up and realise that my fiance is going to have a tough time when he gets here, too. He's the kid of guy who goes nuts just sitting around doing nothing all day, and he's used to living in a more urban environment (although I live in the largest metropolitan area in my state - it's still not much compared to where he's from).

Seeing what you two have gone through has helped me put into perspective the fact that we'll have a lot more hurdles after he gets here than we're having to go through just to get him here. But, we'll be going through it together. I think it's obvious to anyone who has followed your story how much he loves you, and how much you love him in return. He wouldn't have moved there to be with you if he didn't, and he wouldn't be working so hard to get back to you either.

we HAVE purchased a ticket, idiot.

If you purchased a ticket, then why is he still in England?

And, may I just add... where is Craig? Has he posted in the forum recently? I would like him to tell us why he isn't returning?

Methinks Michelle has some anger issues. Tsk tsk tsk.

There's only one word to describe you mate
