Hello,

My DS-3032 & AOS bill was generated on 9/17, please upde the spreed sheet. I am guessing I will recieve my bill in the mail by Saturday.

If my bill has been generated am I now able to fill out and email the DS-3032 form?

Thanks to everyone for all the usefull information.

eYep...you can go ahead and email the DS-3032, and mail it for safety.

You can also pay your AOS fee. If you don't have your IIN, use James' shortcuts (in the Wiki) to create a barcode and barcode cover-sheet...then mail the payment.

Your I-130 and I-129f will be assigned different case numbers.

The I-129f just passes through NVC, is assigned a number, and sent to the consulate.

Contact NVC and send a copy of NOA2 for your I-130, so they can locate your case.

Ling Ling, Thanks for your response. I spoke the NVC representative last night and she instructed me to do the same. So I have sent them a copy of the approval notice for I130 so that they can locate my case.

What happens if my I129 F processes faster than my I130? I really do not want to go the I129F route.[$/b]

My I129 F has reached the incorrect consulate. It reached Mumbai, India - where I was married, instead of Abu Dhabi, UAE which is the closest consulate to the city where my fiance stays. I am assuming that a phone call to the embassy would correct that. Any thoughts?

PS: I read your guide and it was really helpful.

Hey M&S, glad I could help, and that you found the guide helpful.

As for your I-129f petition, I'm not sure of the process, but I believe you need to contact NVC for permission to have the case transferred to another Consulate.

Per the LIFE Act, I-129f petitions and subsequent K-3 visa applications, are adjudicated at the consulate of the country of the marriage...but if you make a strong

case for changing to a different consulate, it usually does.

If you mention your approved I-130, they will probably tell you to dismiss the I-129f.

There's a huge advantage to having an approved I-129f, as I'm sure you've read in my guide.

Good luck, and keep us informed.

I received my AOS Fee Bill and COA form(I-864) today in the mail. I emailed the embassy in KTM to see if Govi will need to go to his home village for his first PCC or if he only needs to go to the central police station in Kathmandu - there is conflicting information in the Embassy instructions.

You must be on the east coast because I haven't gotten bill yet with my location in the Midwest. NVC supposedly mailed mine on same day as yours.

Do the instructions to send in the DS3032 say to mail it to the address of NVC contain "Attn: ACL"? I want to mail in my already filled out and signed DS3032 by USPS.
