I'll let you know when I get there!

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

The picture that was in my avatar, is of a friend of mine. When I joined VJ there was a member here that had done something pretty awful to me, and I didn't wish my identity to be known. But the new one is me. ;)

I knew I was really getting old when my Wii Fit told me my body age is 75 :P That was this past weekend, on my 41st birthday. :(

 So funny and yet so sad at the same time. My sympathies on being a virtual 75 :( and happy birthday and congrats on being a youthful 41!!

I realized I was no longer young, when trying to relive some of my youth I went with a couple friends to a local amusement park. I attempted to ride some of the things that I loved when I was younger and they just made me sick. I also had a drool problem, maybe I just wasn't used to the excitement... or the spinning.

I'm only 27..but now many of my weekend events involve grocery shopping. I don't have as much energy. Oh yeah I think teenagers are mostly obnoxious. I kind of thought that when I was a teenager too though. :P

I still feel young in many ways though.

When I needed to get bi-focals. That brought it home.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

21 Ways to tell you're grown-up

1) Your houseplants are alive, and you can't smoke any of them.

2) Having sex in a twin bed is out of the question.

3) You keep more food than beer in your fridge.

4) 6:00 AM is when you get up, not when you get to bed.

5) You hear your favorite song in the elevator.

6) You watch the Weather Channel.

7) Your friends marry and divorce, instead of hook-up and break-up.

8) You go from 130 days of vacation to 14.

9) Jeans and a sweater no longer qualify as "dressed up".

10) You're the one calling the police because of those %&@! kids next door because they won't turn down the music.

11) Sleeping on the couch makes your back hurt.

12) You take naps.

13) Dinner and a movie is the whole date instead of the beginning of one.

14) Eating a basket full of wings at 3 AM would seriously upset, rather than settle, your stomach.

15) You go to the drug store for ibuprofen and antacid, not condoms and pregnancy tests.

16) A $4 bottle of wine is no longer "pretty good sh&t!!!"

17) You actually eat breakfast food at breakfast time.

18) "I just can't drink the way I used to" replaces "I am never going to drink that much again!"

19) 90 % of the time you spend in front of a computer is for real work.

20) You drink at home to save money before going to the bar.

21) When you find out a friend is pregnant, you congratulate them, instead of going "What the hell happened?"

Good one, Marilyn.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Seeing teenagers hang out outside of malls smoking makes me feel old. They look so young and stupid at the same time, it's sad.
