Of course, that is now discredited since the daughter is 5 months pregnant and the baby was born in April (also - a Down's child is more to have an older mother)

That her daughter is pregnant at 17 says nothing about her ability to be the VP or anything at all except maybe sex education but that's really very thin. No, this is as pathetic an example of how people view politics in America as any we are likely to see on this campaign.

It's embarrassing. This election should be about the ideas and policies that both candidates have to offer this country. Focusing on all this personal ####### is doing a disservice to this country and neither side is coming away from looking good by trying to out dig the dirt on one another.

Hey, for the record I wanted Palin as the VP pick for several months now. I like her for her stated conservative stances and for her political activities since taking over Alaska. Yes, she doesn't have a lot of experience but her character and political bravery (you should look at her record) for standing up to her own party and cleaning house. As some of you may remember I have said that I think the entire city of Washington should be flushed out and we should start over so my support of her is understandable. I hope that when she is VP McCain lets her continue those actions and expose corruption wherever it is found on either side of the isle.
