I am getting scared. What is going on. How can they keep touching my file but still not approve it, not send out rfe. I am scared now. :huh:

yeah i just got touched also

Here is my story. I've lived problem free life, payed my taxes. One day I decided to marry this girl. But to do so would require her to come to US of A, and so it started. My problem free live turned in to free problems from USCIS! Sure things turned to unsure, certain dates turned to aproximation within months. All logical thinking was out the door, as I filed my papers withing famous Vermont Centre!

I understand completely how frustrating this can be. We are all on the same page, I have been waiting nearly a year for an approval and its frustrating how sometimes I see 2008 applications being approved before ours. Hang in there, that's what I tell myself and repeat to my husband numerous times; its hard but I have faith that before this month is over we will hear APPROVALS..

When someone says they were "touched" they are referring to the case portfolio listing. You have to sign up with a user ID and password. When you log in, you have to add cases to your portfolio using the Case Numbers. Once you add it, it will show up in your portfolio listings. There is a spot in there that says "Last Updated" and it will have a date underneath it. When this date changes, that is what we refer to as a "touch" When you click on the case itself it will bring you to the page that says, Pending, Request for Evidence Sent, Approval Notice Sent etc...

02-08-2008- CSC receives I-130

02-11-2008- Received Hardcopy NOA1

08-14-2008- Approved!!! 216 days...
