K-1 NOA2 Recipients: Everyone get their A-Number on the NOA2 Form?

ok, so everyone did -- well excuse me :lol:

They gave my fiance' an A-number on the NOA1.

7/27/2006: Arrival in NYC! -- I-94/EAD stamp in passport

8/08/2006: Applied for Social Security Card

8/18/2006: Social Security Card arrives

8/25/2006: WEDDING!

AOS...

9/11/2006: Appointment with Civil Surgeon for vaccination supplement

9/18/2006: Mailed AOS and renewal EAD applications to Chicago

10/2/2006: NOA1's for AOS and EAD applications

10/13/2006: Biometrics taken

10/14/2006: NOA -- case transferred to CSC

10/30/2006: AOS approved without interview, greencard will be sent! :)

11/04/2006: Greencard arrives in the mail! :-D

... No more USCIS for two whole years! ...

WOW! No there's no number on our NOA1 just the NOA2. Interesting.

Really? That's strange... I just looked at both of my NOA's and they both have his A#. I figured they gave out the A# when they first receive and process the petition.

Hmmm... did most people get their A# for the first time on the NOA1 or 2?

10/2/2006: NOA1's for AOS and EAD applications

10/13/2006: Biometrics taken

10/14/2006: NOA -- case transferred to CSC

10/30/2006: AOS approved without interview, greencard will be sent! :)

11/04/2006: Greencard arrives in the mail! :-D

... No more USCIS for two whole years! ...

Hmmm... did most people get their A# for the first time on the NOA1 or 2?

Just checked mine and yes, both NOA1 & NOA2 have A# on top of my name. :yes:

November, 2006 :I-693A Sent. The waiting goes on...
April 4, 2007: Infopass & it doesn't help at all!!!
April 18, 2007 :Contacting our Congressman.
May 18, 2007 : E-mail rcvd, Welcome Notice Sent! Finally!!!
April 22, 2007 : E-mail rcvd, GC has been ordered
April 24, 2007 : Welcome Notice Rvcd. Yeeehaaa!!!!
June 1, 2007: GC arrived! Yippy! USCIS Free for 2 years!
2008: Moved to China
2009: Conditional GC Expired and Husband has been having affairs since 2008 in China. Can't file for ROC since he got laid off. He came to Jakarta to live with me and my parents. He got a new job. Life resume to normal or so I thought.
March 2010: Officially separated after yet more affairs exposed just a day after my birthday!

February 2011: Officially divorced.
June 18, 2011: He married the girl he had the last affair with.

August 2014: I am engaged with my real soulmate. Not an American.

strange, ours got no A number on both, NOA1 and NOA2.... zero, nothing....

wonder what that means....

and, still hasent received NVC yet....

2/10/2006 I-129f sent to TSC

2/13/2006 they received it

2/16/2006 guess it was fowarded to CA, so they got it that date

2/21/2006 check finally cashed

2/23/2006 NOA1 received

5/01/2006 NOA2

5/30/2006 e mail from CSC: petition was requested for review!! ????

5/31/2006 another e mail reply: petition was approved but has not been fowarded yet

6/15/2006 finally!!!! Petition received by NVC!

6/16/2006 left NVC

6/22/2006 US Embassy in Bern, Swiss rec'd petition

6/28/2006 rec'd paket 3

6/29/2006 sent paket 3 back

7/13/2006 got interview date!!

7/27/2006 Interview! APPROVED!!!!! YEAH!

9/18/2006 Planed flight to Raleigh/ NC........

interview!!!!!

Oh goodness -- there really is no way to predict anything with the USCIS, not even something like assigning A#'s :wacko: It probably means nothing though since everyone gets an A# eventually. Weird the way they do things though...

*January 30 2006 - packet returned.....arggggggggg we forgot one signature!!

Many 'A' numbers are assigned during this process......and it has always been random as to whether they appear on the NOA1's and/or NOA2's. It is the same no matter whether the petition is I-129F fiance/spouse or I-130. On entry to the US you will be assigned another 'A' number, so not worth worrying about whether or not A numbers have appeared on NOA's.
