I think it just means you are 'out of status', which I currently am. You can remain in the US and just wait on your adjustment approval. Sometimes it takes a long time for AOS so there are a lot of people in this situation. Don't worry.

Well, her biometrics were today. What a breeze! We arrived a few minutes early (not much traffic driving across Denver metro on Saturday morning). The office opened at 8 am and we arrived at about 1045. No one was ahead of us. She filled out her questionairre, both fingerprinted and photographed, and we were on our way before 1100. That is, we got out just before our appointment was supposed to begin!

So, if you need to try a walk-in biometric appointment in Denver, try to go Saturday morning.

Service was fast, efficient, and very polite. What a change from normal!

They told me between 30 to 60 days, they day I took my bios. But lets hope its what the USCIS agent. Actually I do keep my self busy alot!! haha

The ASC should serve as an example to the general USCIS: they're curtious, neat, fast and extremely educated.

I hope my EAD arrives soon, I was one of the first August filers.

How is everything else??

After a positive biometric experience, USCIS performance goes back to normal.

We still are not able to get CRIS to accept the receipt numbers for the I-485 and I-765, so we still cannot track those applications.

just a question. Im really find myself stupid asking this because I'm not that active in vj so my question is:

I'm a k3 applicant., Our visa is good for two years. I know there's a little percent of chance that this may happen., but I'm just curious.

What if your AOS application is put on hold and you're still awaiting for the approval and your k3 visa expires?

Will you be deported or is there a way to extend your status?

If your AOS application has been filed, then you are not out of status. You can't extend the visa, because it's for entry. Your receipt for filing AOS is your basis for continued stay in the country.

So we finally have some good news for this thread!! We just got "the letter" stating that our case was transfered to CSC!! Whoopeee. We also checked online and the AOS is now trackable, but the other two are not. So that is the good news!!

The bad news is that my husband's name appeared incorrectly on the transfer notice letter. At the biometrics appointment, the man said that he was going to submit the docuemnts to change the name. But, the letter that is dated Sept 11 (albeit, only one week after the biometrics apointment) still has only three of his four names listed. Any ideas about who to contact? We know that we will need to contact someone about the AP (as they were not able to change it from the biometrics appointment). THOUGHTS??

Thanks everyone, and good luck!
