Feel irrated all you want, that's your choice and your opinion. Opinions are like arseholes - everyone's got them.

I acknowledged it must suck for the OP. But, better now then when he/she shows up at the POE and is DENIED entry.

And I seriously can't be bothered that yet someone else that hasn't been waiting as long as most filers is ticked off at me for telling someone who only applied a couple months ago to stop whining. It's a common thread on here, people from VCS getting all bent out of shape that it's been 3 weeks since their NOA1 and they haven't heard anything. Try being in the rest of our shoes and waiting 4 or 5 months.

If you don't like my posts - then ignore me. That is always an option.

Have a nice day.

Once again..your ignorance shines through....You are a real gem......

If you knew how to read.....you would have seen that my application was sent to CSC just like yours .......not VSC!!!!!!!! and.......... I have waited just as long as you for this entire process and I still don't give a flying f!!ck that others have waited less time.......I like to think that I am compassionate for anyone that has a horrible situation like this regardless of how freakin long they waited.......You make absolutely no sense.....You should really stop posting comments until you grow a brain and get a heart!!

You are so unbelievable........ Your posts are completely RUDE, IGNORANT and SELF CENTERED. This entire forum is a place for everyone to come together and help each other out ....we are here to support each other through this horrible time in our lives....it is hard to ignore your nasty behavior towards a fellow VJ member because you choose to be so self-absorbed with your own wait time.......

YUP........Irritated I am............ :ranting::ranting:

Besides, I don´t see why people with applications in VSC can´t be bothered. It´s not about the amount of time we´re waiting or else, it´s the fact that at this moment no one is sure of when this mess will end so they can go back to regular processing.

I say I´m upset ´cus I was told VSC was fast, and I saw a bunch of people approved in two weeks. If I had gone through any other service I´d be ok with the fact that I wouldn´t get an approval in less than 90 days, so I´d have made different plans.

So the whole point is not the time each person is waiting, this process is stressing for everyone, no matter who waited for how long. I think respect to each person´s traits is key in the forum and the OP´s situation must be really tough indeed, as worse as other usual issues here (although we do have some members going through terrible situations). Imagine getting approved in the interview, getting ready to be leaving already and being revoked? Must be such a hearbreaking feeling!

I totally agree with ya kimlbs !!!

LENJAYUS: How can you possibly blame someone for wanting to get some answers to a huge upset like that in their life!!! How dare you try and tell this couple that they should just let this happen to them and then get pissed because they got to go through a faster service center. No one can help it if they live in a part of the country that allows them to go through a faster service center! You wanna say THEMS THE BREAKS.. well THATS LIFE!!! its not fair and you need to live with it!! Instead of refering that ppboo is being selfish and OHH just because they have only been in this process for a few months and you a lot longer maybe you should realize that you are the selfish one and you should think of other peoples feeling before you say ###### like that! This is a place where people come for support and if you don't know what that means maybe you should stop replying to people like that! I don't think anyone here has said to you when you are upset ...to stop your bitching and get over it!! how would you like it??????

[Fiancé(e) I-129F Petitions Recalled by DHS

UNCLASSIFIED STATE 00077044

P 121528Z MAY 06

FM SECSTATE WASHDC

TO ALL DIPLOMATIC AND CONSULAR POSTS COLLECTIVE PRIORITY

SUBJECT: FIANCÉ(E) I-129F PETITONS RECALLED BY DHS

1. Summary: The International Marriage Broker Regulation

(IMBRA) was signed by the President January 5th of this

year. A 60-day deadline, March 5, 2006, was established

for DHS to begin asking K-1 fiancé(e) petitioners for

their criminal background information. DHS did not meet

the deadline for collecting additional information. Some

petitions filed after the deadline were approved in error

under the old procedures and sent through the National

Visa Center (NVC) to posts for processing. Approximately

1100 cases went to 95 IV-issuing posts. Posts are

preparing to return these cases as quickly as possible to

NVC. End Summary.

2. While most K-1 cases under the new IMBRA requirements

were held at the service centers pending development of a

new form I-129F, some cases were processed after March 5

using the old forms and procedures and sent to posts for

processing. The DHS Service Center Operations (SCOPS)

Unit of USCIS, Status/Family Branch requested that posts

return to NVC all K1 I-129F petitions with priority dates

(date received at the DHS office) on or after March 6,

2006.

3. NVC was able to run a data base list of all petitions

meeting these criteria. We have notified those

posts that have received these cases and given them the

case numbers and further instructions. All cases on this

list, even those with firm appointments or in 221(g)

status, are to be delayed while the petition is returned

for further information. No cases in issued status will

be recalled. If posts have any question about the correct

priority date of the K1 case, they should use the priority

date (receipt date) written or stamped on the original

petition. DHS has not requested return of K3 or K4 I-129F

petitions.

4. The Department presently has no information about the

extent of delay for these cases. In the meantime DHS will

send additional questionnaires to the petitioners

inquiring about their possible criminal backgrounds. When

the petition is compliant with the IMBRA, it will be

returned to post from USCIS through NVC for processing.

5. The Department understands the additional workload of

this process and the public relations demands of

responding to disappointed petitioners and beneficiaries.

We recommend that questions be addressed directly to USCIS. The USCIS customer service number is: 800 375 5283.

I can't believe it literally only took you 2 months fromfiling to get visa. Wow. jsut consider yourself lucky if it only takes a month more because the vast majority of people have a far longer wait time than you. Of course it does really suck that this happened to you, but still it is always best to count your blessings.

Look at this posting on the state govt web site. At least they have the decency to post something unlike the USCIS sites...

You're kidding right? You think they have some decency to post something, somewhere almost 3 months AFTER the law went into effect and they screwed up? Don't you think decency would have been to contact each petitioner via email to let them know what is happening? Or given that they had plenty of notice, the decent thing to do would have been to post this information in January so people planning to file would know it was coming, and then to post the new forms on March 6 so anyone getting ready to file could actually use the correct forms. I'm sorry - I know this has nothing to do with you and you actually think this a good thing. I, on the other hand, think this is a complete and utter outrage. The inefficiency of USCIS is shocking beyond my comprehension. These people are affecting our lives in a major way and the only thing they can do is post something on the state government website. Clearly, I am FURIOUS (with this situation - not with your comment). For anyone else stuck in this limbo, there is ZERO information available. The people at the USCIS 800 number know NOTHING. There is no information on when forms for providing "possible criminal background information" from the USC will be sent. Maybe it will be next week. Maybe it will 3 months. There is no information on what the delay after sending the forms back in will be. At that point they will be so backlogged it could be months. The ONLY thing to do now is contact your senator and congressman. Fill out the privacy release, write a letter, and fax it or hand deliver it. This is outrageous and we cannot just sit back and hope they figure out how to clean up their own mess. They won't do it if we don't push them.

ummmmmmmm TomSara were basically saying the same as you but in short. The gov site referred to is DOS (Department of State) and they have nothing to do with IMBRA or the decision to recall petitions. TomSara was just saying at least there was some info via the telegram sent to Consulate Posts by DOS, unlike the USCIS which approves petitions and gave the directive to DOS to recall petitions from the Consulate Posts.

Kimlbs:

There is no possible humanity to cancelling the issuance of the Visa AFTER the appointment and AFTER the approval

It happened to my fiance/wife in 2004. The damned embassy/State Dept can do what they want. Just because you feel it's wrong doesn't make it wrong in the eyes of the usg.

However, for you to say that there is ALOT of people that have been waiting ALOT longer is bullsh!t and pure ignorance on your part. And for you to tell her to that she is not the only one in the waiting club is just stupid. THERE IS NOT ONE OTHER PERSON THAT GOT APPROVED AND HAD THEIR VISA REVOKED AFTER THE FACT...........So......she is NOT like anyone else and your attitude sucks.......OHHHHH you irritated me with this post.....

Ye speak with closed mind.

Your should lay off. Immigration is NOT some open and shut book like you claim. It changes. The law changes. Embassies and agencies constantly react to those changes in the law.

What the guy says is FACT.

Stop being offended by a single poster based on your own slam dunk step by step process of your own experience.

Immigration IS HARD TO DEAL WITH AND EVERYBODY HAS THEIR OWN SITUATIONS. That's why the process is controlled by humans rather than computers. And this statement by LenJay:

Your not the only one in the waiting club. Stressing over it isn't going to help any. It's better that it happened now, instead of flying over and being denied entry at the POE because it was no longer a valid visa.

I was going to just write a quick salute to.. because he's right. Until I saw your flaming post. You're wrong so Be nice.

The truth is difficult to deal with; the dream of the relationship is what keeps it going though.

Cheers and best of luck to you. I hope you don't hit the same sorry ### roadblocks that so many of the rest of us have.

;)
