When did you receive the biometrics appointment letter?

Hi all,

I know my date is way behind to most of you here, but I just wanted to check back with you and get some idea how long will it take. If you filed I-765 and/or I-485 recentely, how long did you take to receive biometrics appointment letter?

I'm currently working with H-1B visa..actually it's pending as I filed I-485....anyway, I'm planning to relocate and find a job in Washington DC area where my wife resides. Yeah....it's painful... So timing of all these process is important.

Any information would be very appreciated and good luck to all of you!

i got my bio appointment letter yesterday, three weeks after i filed.. the appointment is next week.. two days shy of a month since filing.

I got my appointment for biometrics yesterday. Two 2wks and 2 days after the 1st NOA. The appointment is in two weeks and two days just 2 days after one month from 1st NOA. Does anyone know how long does it take to get the EAD after the bio??

I we filed mine last Nov. i haven't gotten anything since i got my NOA's.

Aug. 18,06 passed the colorado driving test

Sept. 28,06 got my own car

Aug. 28,12 7th year wedding anniversary

July 11,2011 became a Citizen of US

Received NOA's for EAD, AOS on DEc 8th. Received Bio appointment on Feb 3 for fingerprints on Feb 22.

K-1/K-2 AOS APPROVED IN ATLANTA MAY 17, 2006

10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.

ND for i-485/i-765= 11/09/05

i-485 = 61 days after filing, appt for 1/31/06 (got both fps done, lucky me)

i-765= 88 days after filing, appt for 2/25/06 (just got it, still have to go according to lawyer.)

10/17/05... WPB, FL rcvd and forward to NBC/MSC rcvd pkg

11/09/05... NOAs for i-485,i-765 & i-130 dispatched

11/12/05... NOA i-485 & i-765 in my hands!

01/09/06... got biometrics appt for i-485 for 1/31/06

01/11/06... i-765 touched (ACTUAL APPROVAL DAY)

01/31/06... BIO/FP done for i-765 & i-485.

02/08/06... EAD APPROVED & got my passport in the mail! :) (ready for that stamp!)

02/09/06... Got my EAD :) approved 1/11/06 valid until 1/10/07

02/10/06... Applied for SSN, EAD INFO was already in the SSA system :)

02/17/06... got my SSN in the mailbox! yai!!!

02/21/06... GOT INTERVIEW DATE for 4/26/06 @ 9:30AM -West Palm Beach, FL DO-

04/26/06... Interview seemed a success, no approval due to pending security clearence.

06/07/06... i-485 was "touched."

06/09/06... Got email from CRIS, welcome letter on the way! :)

06/12/06... Welcome letter in my hands!

06/16/06... Got email from CRIS again! green card on the way!!

06/19/06... GOT MY GREEN CARD! (valid until 06/07/08)

05/22/08... TX received okg for i751

05/30/08... GOT NOA with extension

06/09/08... got appt for fingerprints

06/17/08... fingersprints done

09/03/08... case transferred and received at CA

03/01/09... finally 1 touch!

04/01/09... got email new green card on the way!!!!! (10 months and 2 weeks!)

06/22/12... N-400 Priority Date - Received

Hi,

We filed in mid December and received Biometrics Appointment letter on 27th January, for 10th Feb (this Friday) appointment. The appointment is for both I-485 and I-765, which is a relief after reading some people's experiences with having to get them done separately.

Hope yours gets there soon.

16th December 2005 - Sent I-130, AOS, EAD & AP USPS overnight to Chicago Lockbox

18th December 2005 - Received at Chicago 9.18pm.

23rd December 2005 - NOAs for I-130, AOS, EAD, AP!! Didn't expect them that quickly

13th January 2006 - RFE for Medical and additional I-864 info

17th January 2006 - INFOPASS Apt about RFE.

23rd January 2006 - Appointment notice for Biometrics on 10th Feb.

10th February 2006 - Biometrics Appointment

21st February 2006 - Medical. Cost $250 including all blood tests, Td Shot, TB test and Titers for MMR and Varicella.

27th February 2006 - Appointment with immigration lawyer re. RFE for I-864.

1st March 2006 - Final results Medical. Papers in hand to send.

10th March 2006 - RFE responses to Lees Summit

13th March 2006 - RFE responses signed for at Lees Summit

24th March 2006 - Emergency AP approved in Omaha

28th March 2006- Collected AP

31st March 2006 - EAD Approval online

7th April 2006 - EAD arrived in mailbox.

21st April 2006- Received Interview Date for 22nd June

9th May 2006- Received SSN

22nd June 2006- AOS INTERVIEW APPROVED

REMOVING CONDITIONS

June 20 2008 - Package mailed to CSC under new rules. Would have been an NSC transfer

June 23 2008 - Package recieved at CSC

June 27 2008 - Recieve NOA1

July 16 2008 - Biometrics

July 17 2008 - Touched

September 9 2008 - Card production ordered

There seems to be a lot of varibility in both how soon it will happen and if it will be together or seperate (AOS and EAD). We got our appoitment a couple of weeks after filing for about 6 weeks from the origional filing date.

Met on internet 6/04. Married at court house in Aba, Nigeria 12/04. 3/05 traditional ceremony in Nigeria w/ my picture. 12/05 finally together again. 4/06 ceremony/celebration in the states together
