OHMYGOD LADIES!!! Are you really saying that you left your husbands because they procrastinated?????? Say it ain't so You are scaring an already skittish guy away from marrying again If my procrastinating will make my Vika walk away from me in spite of our vows - God forbid I should get sick or make a bad job choice or something.

Seriously, I assume it has to be more in every case. I initiated my divorce, and had a biblical reason for doing so. Just injecting some humor (I hope) into what looked to me like a pretty negative post.

this is the key right here, if you cant count on your "PARTNER" then where is the relationship? We have to take care of each other, cant just be one sided. we all have to decide what we can and cant live with as we all have different qualities and tolerances. some people want to be a caretaker

I am not looking for leaving my husband or anything, I guess I was more looking for some inputs, more likely from people who are self declared procrastinate, how to basically motivate the other person to get the work done.

Well to be honest, its me who takes control most of the times, he does have his say but at the end of the day its what I want, yes I am a control freak but then he also gives me the liberty and basically make me take the last decision.

Well, the problem with your goal of wanting a response from proctastinaters, is you probably wont get a response for a few months.

Don't you fret....I get you. I say I hate my husband every once in a while as in "God, I can't stand him some days." Doesn't mean I really hate him or we won't work it out. We always do.]

You vent whenever you need to. We all know the frustrations of this process.

time to buck up then and take it like a man ha iffffffffff u were the pet. which u prob are and were dragging your feet on getting the things done in order to get the visa, (kinda like you werent to worried) dont you think your girl would become a little upset, alot has to do with the seperation im sure. This process is hard on all involved.

No doubt about it being hard on everybody. It just seems that even in the depths of the worst procrastination, ending the relationship as a solution seems just a teensy bit harsh. Maybe that's just my perspective. It wasn't the original poster who drew out the sarcasm in me either, it was some of the other posts. And of course I was joking too, nobody in their right mind ends a marriage because their spouse didn't cut the lawn on time.

Now that I have been duly chastised and am soooo very repentant, can I go back to my meeting of Advocates for Traditional Gender Roles ?
