This thread is in response to a thread I saw requesting the Delicia add K3 filers to her spreadsheet. I understand the reasoning behind keeping CR1/IR1 and K3 separated. Therefore, I have started this spreadsheet for K3 filers, like myself, who are waiting for their NOA2. I am a numbers person and I like to see when people near my filing date are getting approved.

You can find the spreadsheet here.

So, thank you Delicia for showing us how Google Docs can be used. I have never tried this before but am always interested to learn new tools. So I figured I would give this one a shot...

1. For all the California filers, I plan to add those spreadsheets tomorrow.

2. Both California and Vermont filers can send me their updates/changes and I will be happy to update the spreadsheets.

3. Cells highlighted in GREEN refer to approvals that have occurred over the last month.

4. Cells highlighted in YELLOW refer to recent touches. (Disclaimer: We all have seen that approvals sometimes happen with or without previous touches. But this is just another indicator that I was curious to track.)

5. If anyone has any suggestions for changes to the layout of the spreadsheet or additional columns, averaging wait times, etc... I will gladly take those suggestions also.

5. Lastly, If anyone would like to volunteer to share the updating responsibility, you are always welcome to do that also.

Ok, Best of luck to everyone and wishing you all speedy approvals.

I am one of the California Service Center people, but would love to be added!!! I think you have done a FANTASTIC job with the spreadsheet! :)

Ok... I have updated the spreadsheet.

I created one "simple" version in addition to the "detailed" version. The detailed version has about every data sort I can think of. The simple version just has the data sorted by "I-130 sent date".

Here is the link to the simple one.

Here is the link to the detailed one.

Thanks for your updates.

Keep them coming so we can get a more accurate representation of data :)

No not cause of that, I found something in my past that was not suppose to be there. Nothing criminal, but I thought it was best to with draw, and re-take care of the problem. Problem will be solved very soon. Its for the very best.

Excellent data, thank you!

A couple of considerations:

-what did VSC do all month in Nov? Buy Xmas presents? There was almost no activity around that time, according to your charts..

-It seems that CSC is approx. 3-4 months ahead of VSC, judging from NOA1.

-It seems tothe most affected are Oct. & Nov. filers, and therefore I assume that they are the ones being adjudicated at the moment?

-Last but not least, although Pushbrk will call me a bigot, I notice that 20 to 25% of the applicants come from a few selected countries. I suggest that USCIS should open DCF to allow applicants from at least these few selected countries to file from home. Perhaps putting them on a separate waiting list/track (nowadays everything is possible with IT, including the remote screening and data exchange with the FBI) would speed up the process for everyone and "adjudicating closer to the people" would increase efficiency and through-put in the process, saving resources (although a diplomatic expat costs much more than a local USCIS agent probably..).

Wow, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. :) I think your sheet is great and ambitious. I have no idea how you are going to keep up with the touch tracking, but I wish you the best. I just handed my IR-1/CR-1 sheet off to a successor to keep it alive and wish her the best in her immigration journey. I am glad I was able to help some people through this arduous journey. I check my PMs occassionally, so if you want to pick my brain for anything, just shoot me a message.

Good luck!

Thanks Delicia. I know you really helped the CR1 filers. I am always checking VJ to look for recent approvals so I figured I may as well attempt to be useful. I am not working at the moment and have lots of time at home while my husband is at work, so I am happy to work with spreadsheets (like I mentioned earlier, I'm a numbers person and something about Excel is enjoyable to me).. Call me crazy... (Go Yellow Jackets!)

Hope you enjoy the time with your husband. I am in the opposite situation as you... I have been staying with my husband in his country since December and am about to head back to the States in July... One can only live on credit cards for so long... We were hoping that he would be able to come with me in July, but now it doesn't look too promising.

Best of luck to you in the remainder of your VJ.

Hi there, I'm new here and obviously confused.

A little about us. I'm from the US and my fiance is from Japan. We've been together (apart) for almost 2 years now. I lived in Japan for 3 years where we met in 2006. She's been here for a 90 day stay back in 2006 where we travelled all over the US and met all my family and friends. I went back to Japan in 2007 to meet her family and am going back in 2 weeks for another visit. I don't know what we'd do without internet video chat every week!

So here's our little timeline - My fiance and I received our first NOA on March 25. We haven't seen anything since then. No touches, no nothing. Should we be worried? Anyway we can give them a swift kick to get moving on this? Our app went to the CSC. In the meantime, what can we get ready for the next stage if we ever get to that? This whole process is mighty discouraging and from what I hear, it's meant to be.

Sorry if this has been covered ad nauseum, maybe I'm not searching correctly for this stuff.

Thanks everyone!

-Scott
