I'm Kearin (USC) and my husband Salah is from Mahalla, Egypt. We met in Paris while we were both living there in 2005. I had to return to the US in 2006 and we applied for K-1 March 2007 (just before the torturous wait times). I joined VJ when we hit a snag in the process (sorry, dont' remember when), but we were married Dec 21, 2007.

I guess he would be technically here with me for the poll since we are married and he has his 2 yr greencard, but he is back in Egypt for awhile.

I'm Taurus and he's Pisces - I'll take that as a good sign based on what I read earlier :P

يَايُّهَا الَّذِينَ ءامَنُوا اسْتَعِينُوا بِالصَّبْرِ وَالصَّلَوةِ اِنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ الصَّبِرِينَ

“O you who believe! seek assistance through patience and prayer; surely Allah is with the patient. (Al-Baqarah 2:153 )”

I'm Nawal, the USC. My husband, Hazem, is from Cairo, Egypt. We met thru a long time friend of mine, who was his manger at the time. Hazem just arrived in the US on May 29th, 1 day after our twins (boy and a girl) Zain and Nour were born. I have been a member here by a suggestion of two friends Ashely (no longer on here :( and Tiffany still a member) since 2007.

Hi Lisa, nice to see you around!! Say hi to Moe from he and hubby.

Have you heard from Appletree? I hope they are doing good.

'Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO, What a Ride'
