Hi Henia!!

I'm Holly (USC) and my husband is Medy from Oran, Algeria. We met in Paris in 2005 when we were both living there and now live in the Boston area. We did DCF through Algiers in the summer of '06 and he's been here since Nov. 2006 - almost two years :o . We'll remove conditions towards the end of the summer. I joined VJ in June or July 2006 when I was totally clueless about immigration and pretty much stumbled through our entire visa process - I'm lucky we made it this far. I don't write on the boards much, but sometimes when work is slow I'll read.

Henia, how's life in Algeria??

My hubby is from Morocco. I have been a member since 05 (I think). My husband was denied a visa in 05 and we fought it and won. He has been here since Dec of 06, and we have been married for 3 1/2 years.

We do have a few male members, but they haven't voted yet.

I'm Olivia USC, my Husband is Waleed from Cairo, Egypt. We applied for the K3 a year ago and our whole visa got blown off track by the winds of fate when the Egyptian Military took him at the begining of 2008. He doesn't get out till March or May of 2009 and I graduate the same time. After which we plan for me to move to Egypt and go from there with the visa process.

O waw subhanAllah when I first read "took him" I thought kidnap, abduct ... subhan'Allah then I re-read ... military service  Enchallah you both get throu your "obstacles" and have something to celebrate in the end >together! :star:

BTW: Hiiiiiiiiiiii to MBP, Holly,Alhamdulillah, Dorothy,Amal! I guess I am a lurking too! Lately, got back online ... and posting. Hope, I am still welcome!

Life here is ooooooooook, you know! So many changes, developments ... life is getting better I must say! Future of Algeria looks bright!

Morocco4ever good for you, for fighting the system! Example to us all!

Hi, I'm the USC. My honey is in Irbid, Jordan. We started the K1 process in March 2008, and waiting for the NOA2 to come, and then the rest.... hopefully finish by the end of the year. (My honey wants to move to Dubai for better job opportunities... I told him to please wait, since contracts should be honored there).

I (L) the MENA group!
