I know it's considered "shouting" but I don't really understand why. Doesn't bother me.

I think it can be considered shouting in certain contexts, like if you or I or a lot of others start writing in caps, someone might wonder. If someone is just used to typing that way, has all along, and doesn't know or think it's rude, it shouldn't be such a bother to others.
