Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

If you are cooking and have some grease in a pan you should probably put it into an old jar after it cools and keep it under the sink instead of putting the grease down the drain. That's just what I learned and we have never had any problems with grease or anything in the sink.

The garbage disposal is another story... my mom recently broke the one at her and my dad's house and my dad pulled a penny out of it which seemed pretty weird. Then yesterday I realized that my Mom puts pennies in her flower vase to open up the flowers faster (sounds like crazy talk to me), so it was her fault. She dumped the water out into the sink from the vase and the penny went overboard. So watch out for those pennies in the garbage disposal!

A plunger would be a good investment. It's cheap, and you never know when it will come in handy. IMO, every home should have one!

Well, DH brought home a bottle of drano... here's hoping that it works! The sink is flowing again, albeit extremely slowly - I've run a ton of hot water down it to try and help dissolve the clog and wash away any baking soda that's still sitting in there. It's not fizzing any more so I THINK all the baking soda is gone.
