Missing someone gets easier everyday because even though you are one day further from the last time you saw them, you are one day closer to the next time you will.

Here is the rundown on Igor's list going into the week of August 11...

(at least up to my spot at 65, sorry to be so selfish)

#2 repeat, subtract 1

#5 approved already, subtract 2

#22 very sad...pregnant, broke up, she is withdrawing petition :crying: ,subtract 3

#28 didn't indicate service center in profile, is posting in CSC forum, I think it's a CSC case, subtract 4

#42 duplicate, subtract 5

#44 "Russ & Kim", pornography related delays

#48 Gaura & Nitai, already approved, subtract 6

#50 Suzy & Luis, VSC awaiting nude photos of Peruvian supermodel "Luis"

#56 Want to know what slows things down? Professional petitioners maybe? This person wonders if he'll have any trouble...applied for K1 in 2006, approved but he was unhappy with product on delivery and returned to sender. Applied for same person Jan 2007 had interview appt in June, canceled 2 weeks before interview because he had decided to "date" someone else  Apparently the product quality had not improved in the intervening 6 months! Now applying for her a third time! My my, what will happen this time?! Anyone else who has been through this situation please run over and tell him what to expect! :bonk:

Did someone say something about dysfunction? Of course, you can see this is a new paragraph so the question has nothing to do with anything written above!

This cracked me up ... that's why you've been obsessively checking off everyone on the Igor-list? lol *cheeks turn red, I've done the same thing and constated that there are probably 15/20 petitioners who lacked updating ;) *

Must be us upstate NYers who need something to obsess about!

And I'm not even there yet ... you think I will fit in there?

Congrats to all the approved VJ-ers ... and a superspeedy approval to all the rest of us! :star:

Darn upstate NYers. Isn't it funny that for city / Long Island people, upstate NY is like going to another planet?

I remember my first trip up to Albany when I was looking at colleges, and I was like "we're still in New York????" Totally strange. Love you guys though, you're so laid back and nice. We're kinda wound real tight down here. Still love Lon' Giland though, haha.

Yes! Don't come up here or we'll send you home full of implants and alien babies! B)

I live in Saratoga so I have more than enough "foreigners" invading my space right now! Can't even find a place to sit in MY Starbucks!

All these worlds are yours except Upstate NY

Attempt no landing there

Use them together

Use them in peace....

Dave? Dave?

Oh yea, we're a lot like the people of Belgium up here! You'll fit right in!

Sorry, had to write people of Belgium because I'm having a senior moment and can't for the life of me recall what the people of Belgium are called. Then suddenly I remembered a waffle I once ate! Oh yeah! When you come over can you bring waffles? :)

Hey china it wasn`t me applying for her, it was someone else. I wouldn`t go through this process more than once.

Sorry dude! I hope it's all figured out now. Sorry for misunderstanding your post! Hope you have a smooth ride.

Thanks ! im glad im not that stupid, lol

I went back and read your post again today and it's actually very clear that you were not the original petitioner. I took a muscle relaxer for some bad neck pain last night and I think I was a little loopy. I wanted to apologize again and warn others about the dangers of posting under the influence.

So my RFE was delivered to VSC today DHL - no touch though or anything.

Why do you guys think that is? Maybe tomorrow I'll get a touch or something? I sure hope so. I'm a nervous wreck.

I just want to know that they received it and it didn't get stuck in somebody's pile of junk, and that it actually makes it to my adjudicator's desk. If I called, do you think they'd tell me?

I'm just chock full of questions today aren't I?

So my RFE was delivered to VSC today DHL - no touch though or anything.

Why do you guys think that is?

I think it made it to the mail room and hasn't been sorted and taken to the proper floor. Tomorrow.....

Thanks Kim :) Waiting on damn supporting document though :crying: Aussie police clearance takes ages to come through! But Im off to see him in seven days so Im totally excited and not caring too much about the K1 right now!

Guess what- we have reached page 108 of this forum- and in India 108 is a very lucky number :) The 08/08/08 has also passed by - Ive always liked dates like that but I just learned that the Chinese find them very luck and loads of Chinese got married on the 08/08/08 at 8:08am/pm lol!

Hope all this good luck piles up and pushes those USCIS adjudicators to work hard!

Its amazing how long this one little part of the whole thing can take - Im on the second part now and theres waaaaaay more paperwork/worry ahead! Phew! One little bit of advice for those of you wanting to do stuff while waiting- get your vaccinations all up to date and take a look at the latest revised vaccinations needed. If you live in a cool country go to your local doc and they can do it for free instead of you splashing out the big bucks in the states or at your private medical exam. Also, if you have it all ready (even though its not required until AOS technically speaking) the docs at your medical mark you down as all up to date which takes a lot of hassle outta life....

Missing someone gets easier everyday because even though you are one day further from the last time you saw them, you are one day closer to the next time you will.

Kim&Highwaystar>>>

Thanks for your thoughtful wishes!

I tried not to obsess in about the past 2 weeks. I was not really looking at either of VJ / USCIS.

I was getting so excited to see my fiancefor the first time in 8 months and didn't have to think about it.

After about 2 weeks, I still see no change on my case and it is pretty depressing :crying:

I feel like they are moving so ahead that they probably skipped our case way before

and they don't even know that they skipped someone's case....

But Highwaystar got her approval so that shoud mean that VSC is working on the cases, just really really slowly....

KIm, I totally know how hard it has been for you lately.

when I was seeing all the March filers getting approved everyday and

I felt like it could be my turn anytime but nothing would happen, I was going MAD!!

I got used to not seeing any change afterwhile but I want you to get approved before you get to that stage of mind!

You should get approved any time soon, you have been cheering everyone up so it should be your turn now!!!

I really hope to be able to celebrate with you soon!!! I will be wishing both of us the best luck!

HIghwaystar, I hope your aunt will get better soon!!! I am sure it will make her feel better to know that

her neice is happily getting married to someone that loves her!!!
