there's only one sig that bothers me currently and she has like 12382402893084 pictures of her baby in it. other than that, i don't care about the normal long signatures!

:blush: this is the one that set me off!!! :blush: normally I don't really care about long siggies, but this one is just over the top, obnoxiously long! I just figured that particular member would think I'm "out to get her" or something b/c I happened to comment on her SO's post that I thought what he posted was pretty shallow. Remember the "hot egyptian guy" post from last week? No, I'm not after her, and frankly, I think the kid is cute as chit, but is that really necessary to post an entire album of pics? Can't we just dedicate a whole thread to cute babies? Oh wait!!! We did........ :whistle:

I like to read peoples sigs to see how long their process took and how they met etc....i'm not so keen on all the pictures, but then they don't particularly annoy me, I just scroll past them without paying attention.

5th February 2008 - I-129F forms sent for K1 visa (VSC)

26th March 2008 - NOA2 recieved via email

19th May 2008 - Interview............APPROVED!!!!!!

21st May 2008 - Visa in hand

29th July 2008 - POE

2nd September 2008 - Married

19th September - Mailed AOS/EAD/AP to Chicago lockbox

25th September - Check cashed $1010.00 (OUCH!!)

29th September - Received NOA's for AOS/EAD/AP

13th October - AOS Petition transferred to CSC!!!

17th October - Biometrics (Tampa Office)

17th October - AOS/EAD Touched

20th October - AOS Touched

21st October - AOS Touched

6th November - AOS/EAD/AP Touched (probably due to change of address)

10th December - EAD approved

28th January 2009 - GC approved without interview. Done with all this till 2011!!!!!!!!

In the past, I've PM'd members whose signatures have been particularly annoying for whatever reason. It's quite probable that this particular member isn't aware that her signature is excessive and may just need some technical help in reducing image sizes.

I like to read peoples sigs to see how long their process took (Timeline) and how they met (Member Profile) etc....i'm not so keen on all the pictures (Member Profile > My Photos), but then they don't particularly annoy me, I just scroll past them without paying attention.

hmm I see what you mean, lol. I agree that she might not realize how big it is though, like Jenn said.

I like having signatures on too. I want to see ppl's stuff. Why do those who turn them off even keep a signature? Why do we have to look at yours if you won't look at our signtures? :P

Don't get me wrong, I'm all about reading people's siggy and seeing what's up w/ their case, their pic or meez, their joy - but really, why must some have like 15 pics of their kid????? Ok, maybe not 15, but at least 7. I know I can turn the siggy feature off, but I don't want to - it's just annoying that one person's 3-line post takes up almost half a page b/c of their dang siggy! :wacko:

Maybe you could edit yours some :yes: what is annoying to some isn't annoying to others. MEH.
