Oh Lawd God! Don't tell me your one of those people who say " I have Black friends, or I'm married to a Black" and you HONESTLY think that makes you understand Black?!! WTH!!! Are you for real right now, or is this a joke?

A joke oonu ah mek?!!

Ok, so please describe his metoric rise to the position he's in at this time.

I would say his rise to the position he's in has to do as much with his charisma as with his intelligence and his understanding of what our country needs right now. Have you read any of his books? Actually listened to any of his speeches? He's a highly intelligent and progressive-thinking man, imho.

I don't like him because he's multi-racial. I like him because I agree with much (not all) of what he stands for. Maybe it will all be rhetoric, but the same could be said about Hillary or McCain as well.

This is apparently still relevant.....Proof that Obama-bots know nothing about this guy......

He's a media "doll", kiss, kiss......

You are trip. You're still pimping out this infomercial like it's some smoking gun. LOL...Marlita's right. You have issues.

It's fact and the truth about the emptyheads that are supporting this dunce...Bring something forth to refute the video........

You can't because it's just fact. The Obama movement isn't rooted in anything but superficiality.

I take umbrage at being called an emptyhead :) I think with 2 advanced degrees under my belt, I am anything but an "emptyhead." In fact, most of the people I know who support Obama are...*gasp* intelligent people!

I don't need to get over his "blackness", for he really isn't black. He has a mixed ethnicity, white, and black, and of the African heritage that you want to diminish and discount as legitimate for he's not a 8th generation american black (1/2 caucasion)........

I know he's not fluent in ebonics but he has the same "blackness" you declare yourself to have...but he's also caucasion.........

Your argument that my experience with a black woman from africa doesn't live up to your "blackness" is absurd, except of course my wife hasn't mastered ebonics either.

Ok now I think you have to really being making jokes...are you a troll? Cause you couldnt possible be writing this stuff with sincerity.

Now you claim that Barack "really isn't Black"? So now he is of mixed ethnicity...well ok very true. I don't even know what you were talking about with the whole 8th generation black thing  ...got my head spinning on that one.

And to clarify....I did not know your wife was from Africa til yuh just said it right now...so how could I ever question her Blackness? And why in the world would your African wife speak ebonics, and now Barack Obama doesn't speak it either....what the heck is ebonics in the first place!! Just cause she's a Black African doesn't mean that she is like Black Americans....we (Black people) have a bit more depth than that. You might as well say the Asian person who is Japanese should understand and speak Chinese....just cause they are Asian and have similar outward appearances? WHAT IN THE WOLRD?!!! Africa is a huge continent, with thousands of tribes and cultures and you just compared your African wife...not even stating her country...to an American, just because her outward skin is Black. Ok so.....what about Blacks in the Carribbean, or UK, or South America who speak spanish......are they less Black or more Black cause they don't speak ebonics...

Cha! Wah yuh feel like? Lawd yuh juss need fi gwaan!

is looking like it's pretty much over. Yes, it sucks, and no I won't go into details, and it's painful for both of us...but if it does come to pass like this, then it'll probably be for the best. This is not a rash decision as it's been coming for a while now.

I wanted to say thanks to everyone here for all the help and the friendship.

I posted this in OT cos that's where I usually post.

We have one month from yesterday left on our NOA2 approval. At this point, I'm not sure revoking it officially is the right thing to do as it's kinda up in the air at this point even though it's leaning towards not happening. But officially, I'm not sure if there's anything I NEED to do. Will it just expire?

Please no speculation on what's happened here....we both love each other an immense amount, and there are quite a few factors in play here that are quite beyond our control at this point. But it's not about infidelity or falling out of love or anything like that. I love D with all of my heart, and I don't want anyone bashing him or speculating about who did what to whom. In the spirit of disclosure, I just wanted you all to know since I spend so much time here, and if this does become official, I wanted to explain why I won't be coming back. Actually, I think it's more for myself to possibly embrace the fact that our relationship may well and truly be over. Part of accepting that fact is being honest about it and not hiding. Hahahaha....a possible goodbye thread! Wow who woulda thunk I'd be writing one of these?

I'm sure there are many on here who will take great pleasure in my pain. So it's party time for them, lolz!

The truth is Pedroh is that Democratic party cannot let the issue of race and racism die. It is their straw man that they keep propping up to divide people by race then to come in as their saviors. The most racist people that I come into contact with usually vote for the Dem's. They also use the class warfare issue in much the same manner.

What a non-issue...

Well, its relevance isn't the garb he's wearing but rather how the liberal democrats are once again in self destruct mode......

I feel sorry for the democrats once again as they keep hitching their wagon to losers.

Let's face it, neither Hillary, nor Barack has a chance.

Thank god Bush didnt dress up in African Garb. I just heard Hillary on the news sayin she would open up diplomacy with the terrorists in Iraq in her first sixty days in office. I hope she goes over there to have this little chit-chat. :lol:He!! at least with Barrack there would be some name recognition. They could relate to.

Any possible credibility is lost with a remark like this...

I think it was used just to stir the pot. ( No pun intended ).

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

This action of Barak reminds me of an episode in India's 1989 election where then-PM Rajiv Gandhi tried to appeal to Hindu voters by visibly displaying "sacred thread"--problem was that he showed his lack of religiosity by displaying it OVER his clothing (no Hindu wears it that way) and contributed to his own defeat that year.

So, I'll add a few jeers.
