Triplets born to teenager - again

A 16-year-old Argentine girl has given birth to female triplets - for the second time.

The girl, named only as Pamela, had her first set of female triplets aged 15, having first given birth to a son when she was just 14.

All seven children were born prematurely but without any kind of fertility treatment.

While doctors say the three newborns and their mother are well, the case has sparked debate across Argentina.

In bars and cafes, as well as the letters pages of newspapers, there has been widespread criticism of Pamela's alleged promiscuity.

Pamela's family already receives help from the provincial authorities, which donated land and built them a house when the first set of triplets was born.

Pamela's mother, who cleans houses to support her daughter and rapidly increasing number of grandchildren, says they will now seek more assistance from the government for the new additions to the family.

Some Argentines are arguing that perhaps what Pamela needs is more advice on contraception.

The teenager, who will be 17 on Monday, comes from the remote town of Leones in the central Argentine province of Cordoba.

I have absolutely no sympathy whatsoever. If you don't learn after the first time, then have at it. But don't worry - the government will pay for everything and build you a house. You and your 7 kids, and frankly stupid mother, can all live happily ever after, oh that is until the next time you get knocked up and need an even bigger house. If she were mine she would be locked up, with her legs glued together. Honestly, they both need a good slap and a refusal of any more handouts.

Hmmm... what I'd like to know is who is knocking this "Pamela" up in the first place? Are we talking about different men or the same guy? Regardless of who is doing it, shouldn't this man or these men be held accountable in some fashion or another -- instead of the entire country, where the vast majority of people had absolutely nothing to do with it?

I'd also like to know (since I'm not from Argentina and have never been there, so I haven't researched their laws) what the legal age of consent is considered there as well. If she's had one child at 14, the first set of triplets at 15 and now a second set of triplets at 16, I'd have to think that all of that was done while underage.

And most importantly... where the hell did she even get the time to do all of this?! It seems that from ages 14 to 16, she's been popping out kids! Has she even had to time to breathe between pregnancies?

Of course not Steven... who cares about that? It's all about Pamela's character assassination. She is, after all, an irresponsible promiscuous sluuuuut that deserves to be sterilized. - Who gives a hoot about her real life story? Is she perhaps handicapped somehow? Was she raped? Do her religious convictions prevent her from having an abortion (besides I don't know if it's legal in Argentina, I know in Mexico it is not). Bot nothing like that matters. what apparently matters is getting on a moral high horse and spewing the most horrifying statements about a girl we don't even know or will ever know.
