congrats.. monalisa on the approval of I130. I'm afraid that rumors that have been going around about K3s being cancelled might be true as I130 and K3 are not being approved together anymore. I have noticed at least 2 or 3 members who had their 130 approved but not K3.

That seems to be the case Monalisa. I'm already starting to study the NVC Flowchart and the James Shortcuts to try to save time whe we FINALLY get approval, since I am anticipating having my 1129F cancelled. (Hopefully not...But I usually hope for the best and prepare for the worse). Problem is, my husband is a bit computer challenged and might be overwhelmed with the James Shortcuts!

Firstly, congratulations on your approval :)

For the K3 it seems that if you didn't pay a fee, USCIS may close the petition. In which case, they will forward the I130 onto the NVC and you will be applying for a CR1/IR1 visa. It will take roughly 3-4 weeks to arrive at the NVC for whichever petition they decide to forward.

For the I130, the NVC will then send paperwork to the USC to begin that stage of the process. The NVC will take a few months extra for the I130 and you would need to check whether the interview scheduling time differs for the CR1/IR1 vs K3 at your embassy. Those 2 factors will tell you how much additional time your journey would take.
