ok...that sounds awful to me...but then again...i know a ton of people who eat scrambled eggs with ketchup too! i guess the way i make my french toast would be really gross with ketchup but if you make it the normal way, less gross... no offense

Dad used to make 'very plain' French Toast when we were small - just some eggs with a bit of milk. No vanilla and no dusting of the finished product with brown sugar or any of the sweet stuff. So in a way it was just a fried egg sandwich except the egg was on the outside of the bread!

I should have added that after I reached maturity, I stopped eating French Toast that way.

Our piss-taking abilities weren't so sophisticated at that time. It was more along the lines of "Nyer, nyer, you come from a town where they do public pancake racing, nyer, nyer."

This was at university, by the way.

Strangely hypnotic and quite zen. I think my blood pressure went down just from watching that. I'm going to bookmark that to watch whenever I feel my stress starting to ratchet up.

pancakes and bacon with maple syrup. I'm also in agreement with those that like golden syrup. Can you get real crumpets over there...gonna miss then if you can't!!!

anyways...wine open early tonight and it's not zinfandel for a change *catches Aly as she faints in horror* got some merlot instead.

Hehe - I have a glass left from the bottle I had last night and some kinda generic Cali wine as well

No offense but.... . Though I guess those who eat it with ketchup probably feel the same about the thought of eating it with syrup.

I've just had a knock at my door and a bottle of swedish vodka handed to me with my name carved into a wee metal plate imbedded in the bottle. One of my friends said a box of 12 bottles with names of 12 of my friends landed at his door this morning. They are presents from my friends from sweden for "up helly a" which was tuesday in the shetlands. Celebrating the viking heritage of scotland.

Does anyone find it strange that at no point in this video we see some actual lemons?

We see the juice go in, but no juice being squeezed...
