So sorry your news got mixed up in the the middle of all the apologies you-know-who (I can't say his name HE IS SHY!!!) was throwing out there, but I think the invaders have been repelled and now we can get back to banana bread recipes and other stuff.

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

You're close enough to the border you should consider a day trip. Go down in the morning, come back in the evening, do some shopping and margaritas in the middle. :)

How did you like Colorado? Considering a move?

Oh we prolly could ;) Might not be until after Christmas though - we have *no* presents yet and I am very aware that it is creeping up on us... I keep trying to think of things that are small so they won't cost too much to ship... I am thinking that I might make some jewelry for mum/grans/sis-in-law etc. as it is personal and small and nice :D Need to get the materials though...

Colorado was lovely - didn't like Denver (sorry!) but that was more because it is a large city than it being anything personal ;) We travelled up as far as Loveland but I preferred Longmont. Jeremy thought that it was really busy there and he didn't like that but I loved the little main street and the residential areas looked nice too - some were a bit run down but meh - you get that anywhere and whatever we end up buying will take work for it to be "ours" anyway :)

We loved the little places in the mountains most though I think - I think the only problem with them is that they are so far away from anything - one place had a Walmart (at about 10,000 ft :lol: ) but most of them were so tiny it made me wonder how I would ever get a job without having to commute down a mountain and back to work each day :unsure: It's a bit of a pain - trying to balance the practicalities with the places we liked... but we have a few places in mind now though so just need to research them all more thoroughly :)
