Is this the correct link to check the status online?

https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/caseStatusSearchDisplay.do

We received all 3 of our NOAs for AOS and our receipt numbers begin with MSC. The system says there is no record. Any ideas? Thanks all!

It just keeps saying

Validation Error(s)

You must correct the following error(s) before proceeding:

* Customer Portfolio Insert Failed

* Attempting to add a case that does not exist. Check the app receipt number.

I never had any probs with our K1 status online. Oh well, so much for looking forward to some touches!

I mailed in my AOS/AP/EAD on Oct 4, 2007. I still cannot see my AP receipt # online, nor can I add it to my online portfolio. The AOS and EAD I can see, which I presume happened since my biometrics, although that still took 4 weeks after bio to show up. I did call the USCIS prior to the receipt #s showing up and they said, "those MSC numbers sometimes just don't show up" To put your mind at ease you can call USCIS, they should transfer you to a 2nd level (or whatever the correct terminolgy is) IO and they will verify that everything is in the system, but you still won't be able to see it. Very frustrating, :wacko: but so is the whole process. Good luck!

This is the link I use: https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp

It works fine (I just checked my status). The problem for me is that it has not been updated (in other words, I have not been "touched") since my biometrics. :)

It seems that USCIS has a delay in putting some cases in the online system. Some cases get put in very late and some don't seem to get put in at all. The only thing to do is keep checking but don't worry if it doesn't show up.

Our case just showed up online yesterday, I think, and only one of the numbers shows.

Ours wasn't online for a real long time. I think right before our AOS interview is when it finally started working, and we could check the status. So be patient, sometimes it takes months :)
