I've been known to cut the tags off mattresses in an act of utter defiance. Shhhhhhh. M.

I did my sons art project for school.

He got an A-.

I was tempted to call up the teacher and ask why I got an A-.

But I held back.

 I had a parent confess that she wrote her son's essay. She was pissed because he got a C and it came out in the conversation when I pointed out the lack of structure and solid argument. When she confessed...I gave him an F for cheating. Boy was she pissed.

Did she try to complain to the principal about you?

I think the only thing my parents ever did for me was a science fair project in the 2nd grade. My father (an organic chemist) made it his project and I had little idea what was going on. It was obvious that it was far too complex for a 2nd grader to come up with. :P

Hehe, sorry if I sounded condescending, I didn't realize that you had had kids before.

Confession 7: I thought you were a lot younger. Like early 20s. Not sure where I got that idea. :P

Just an anecdote, my daughter was only sick in the two weeks she was breastfed and not again until I weaned her from formula at 13 months. That doesn't mean formula is better than breastmilk, but it isn't garbage water either. I absolutely support breastfeeding, in public, whatever wherever. I think it should be the default and most everyone should at least try. Where I get annoyed is when it is passed off as some kind of magical elixir that your kid will be sick, fat, and retarded without (not saying you said this, just in general). It just isn't true and creates an unnecessary environment of mommy guilt and resentment. That is the last thing a hormonally wrecked (and in my case very ill) new mother needs. I hope your wife has lots of success at it and isn't brow beat into doing it if it just may not work out. I knew I had people insisting I should be pumping blood 6 hours a day if that was what it took. Whatever. In the end, it just wasn't as important as everyone made it out to be. Even my husband admitted that later, and he was fairly disappointed when I had to give it up and was worried for awhile after all the horrible things he had been told about formula.

:D No worries...looking like I'm half my age at this point in life has become a good thing.

I hear you on the baby formula, especially for babies that just don't take well to breastfeeding. Hopefully, it will be an option for us, because I do think there are less ear infections for babies that breastfeed. :)

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

I dran2 glasses of wine last night and I feel hung over today.

Red or white? White does that to me, but red just disrupts my sleep. It happened to me two nights ago!

White - sauvignon blanc. I think I need to stop drinking wine. It really does me in, even after just 2 glasses. So sad.

I really hope breastfeeding works out for your wife and child. Cheaper, at any rate.

Confession 8: I hate my job. My boss expects me to stay forever. She is out of her mind (for a lot of reasons). I am only staying to get the on-the-job certification the company offers and will get in the middle of next month. I believe it will make me even more marketable in another field that I already have a lot of experience and the education for and know I like doing. I just got to suck it up for 4 more weeks. OK...

Confession: When I was a teenager, my older brother really p*issed me off so I stole his entire porn collection knowing he couldn't say a thing to my Mom about it. I think he blamed my other brothers for it, but it was me!
