Read the notice we mailed you for an explanation on why we transferred your case

If you do not receive your notice by May 31, 2018, send us a case inquiry and select that you did not receive your notice by mail.

Your extension letter extends the validity of your GC by 1 year, so your anniversary date is the one that matters (not NOA date). That being said, you don't have to get the stamp of you don't exp

As it says, wait for the letter but it is likely to be nothing more than a workload redistribution.

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

I'm betting your I-751 and your N-400 have been combined at the NVC, and either this is what the notice is about, OR, they have already been combined at NVC and are headed to your local office for adjudication together.

 

All will be revealed when you get your letter!  Good luck!

So many applicants got this notice, most of them got it in May 1th. 

As they said, it means they transferred your case to your local office to get a combine interview. Or it is just a tech glitch as what happened in the last of Feb .

I-485 (AOS)

04/01/2015 Sent Form I-485.

05/06/2015 Scheduled the interview and mailed its notice.

06/16/2015 The Post Office picked up mail containing the new card.

06/16/2015 The 2 years Green Card was mailed to me.

06/18/2015 The 2 years Green Card in hand.

 

I-751 (ROC)

03/13/2017 Sent I-751 documents to CSC.

03/14/2017 Package received.

03/16/2017 Check cashed.

03/??/2017  NOA received.

03/14/2017 NOA dated.

03/27/2017 Biometrics. "walked-in" 

02/26/2018 Case transferred to my local office.

05/01/2018 Case transferred to another office.

05/03/2018 Case transferred to another office. 

05/07/2018 Received letter in mail, my case was transferred to NBC. "Letter's date is 05/01/2018"

I hope that, thank you Derwood. 

I know someone lives in Cincinnati also and applied for her N-400 in Feb 2018, her interview & her oath were in April! 

Within 60 days she finished everything about her N-400 from A to Z. She also did hers under 3 years rule, but she doesn't had an I-751 case.

May I ask you a question please? During your signature I realized that you received your Green Card in Feb 2016, then you applied for ROC in Nov 2016. 

The question is how you do that? It's just 8-9 months!

I just received another iteration of the same notification, making it look like they transferred my case on May 1st and now transferred it again on May 3rd? In the "next steps" section it says:

"We will assign your case to an officer.   We will review your case and mail you our decision. If we need more information, we will notify you."

Does everyone else have the same message there?

Maybe now it transferred to your local office! 

But I feel it is kinda tech glitch! I am not sure :)
