Oh my, reading myself through various responses, I feel discouraged that NVC works speedier.

I guess more patience is in order,

And peace to file all the coming up papers correctly.

I'm feeling anxious. This is now all up to me.

Hi all!

Happy Easter!

NVC Received I-864 Package Mar 18, and they approved DS-3032 Mar 27.

We paid IV bill Mar 29 via internet.

Does that mean that NCV approved AOS or we will receive special document confirming that?

I am still waiting on an interview date from my embassy.. can't believe it.. MY case of deemed completed on march 8... been 3 weeks and no updates....

I've been waiting since March 5th. sad.gif Despite everyone saying that you can and demand information, there's nothing you can really do except for wait. NVC will blame it on the embassy, and the embassy will tell you it's up to NVC, and both are partially right - how busy your embassy is determines how soon you get a date, and it's NVC that actually makes the appointment. Just so you know, there's a member over at the May interviews thread who's had case complete since February and is still waiting for an interview from Pakistan, so you might be in for a few more weeks of waiting. sad.gif

NVC may not send you anything letter you know that your AOS package has been approved - you have to call and ask. good.gif The only thing that you MAY receive to indicate an approved package is a false checklist, but like I said, there's no guarantee.

I guess NVC is closed today...

we received couple of emails saying that 'We have reviewed the documents which you submitted in support of an application for an immigrant visa.' AND 'We are still waiting for the Immigrant Visa fee payment(s). Please submit the fee payment(s) according to the instructions on the IV fee bill sent to you from NVC.'

It sounds to me like a false list :)

NVC isn't closed today! Or if it is, it's the first time I've heard of it. blink.gif Easter isn't a public holiday, and warrants no vacation for government offices. I'd try giving them a call to confirm! Sounds like they accepted your AOS package. good.gif

MsHogan’s took a week for her’s and slightly less for the kids’ it looks like.

I will hopefully hear something shortly as well. :)

I know the DS-260 seemed a whole lot easier than I was worried about too.

Glad they changed it for us ;)

I checked and I can do it now to. I have been sweating it so I am SO happy to hear they stepped it down a notch.
