I called NVC today and I was told I made a mistake on one of the forms and that I should be getting an email soon about it. I feel like such a failure. I checked everything so many times for mistakes. now this will add another 60 days to our process. Im just in tears. Just wanted to vent.

I am so sorry His Glory. It is well take it easy on your self.

So you say its the I-864A which a co-sponsor filled out. Well than they made error. Just wait to get the checklist and then you will see. The email should come soonest.

usually on those its the # of people count or they put people in wrong section. Seen it many times.

If it is their fault I wish a phone call would straighten it out.....instead me waiting for the email and sending it to them and waiting again. Will there be an explanation of the mistake?

there is no # of people on that sheet. Every thing is done well. the only part is 11 that might have problem because she doesn't have to file taxes but I was told my nvs to not check anything to write a letter to explain why she doesn't.

If it makes you feel better, my wife made a mistake in the 13a1. She did not realise that the tax document she had was 1040A not 1040 and that meant the total income was on another line. The form is difficult and the instructions are not great even when you 2 English speakers. Just another part of the process which could be massively improved upon. I feel for you though, knowing such a small error has set you back really hurts and I had to convince my lady that I did not hold it against her. I have my fingers crossed for you next time.

:)
