Can't type "N/A" into Form N-400 PDF

Despite the N-400 instructions saying to enter "N/A" in certain situations, the downloadable N-400 PDF doesn't accept the slash symbol. Have people just been omitting it and typing "NA" instead?

I just didn't type in anything where it wouldn't let me, and wrote it in by hand after printing.

In my application I typed only NA I didn't put the / symboL AND I'M gonna do my oath this Friday. It's up to you really what you wanna do

I think I will leave all the fields that do not apply to me blank. There are way too many of them. Marriages, children, etc. That would be too many N/A's. Plus, now that there is a barcode, what difference would it make if I were to handwrite N/A in those spaces ?

Yeah, that's what I ended up doing after doing more research. I guess it's a wiser choice. I spent so much time handwriting N/A in every single empty space though..

I was able to type N/A on the N400 form PDF, I used google chrome to and worked on the web PDF. Im not sure why people were'nt able to type that

yes when I used I-751 form in web using Chrome, I was able to type N/A. thanks A-Singh.
