Need help filing for divorce

I was married for 6 years and my husband went back to Morocco to help his brother. I sold a car to pay for the ticket. Once he got there he started saying I used witchcraft on him and sent a Jinn to his brother through a watch I never touched. Now this was right after he got his citizenship and he has been gone for 6 months. I have no way to contact him except facebook and he ignores my messages. I live in a no fault divorce state but I need to serve him some how. I'm totally stuck. I have sent via email the papers for him to print sign and send back but he has refused to do so. Do anyone have any advice? I cant find any addresses as he took all the papers from immigration with him. I need help badly before I go crazy.

File for divorce based on abandonment. You may want to use a lawyer to ensure that you can meet the requirement to serve him when you don't have his current address.

His citizenship may just be what causes him the most pain at some point. You need a lawyer to help ensure the divorce process is done correctly.

I would love to hear him explain the Jinn bit in a court room. Would everyone need a new watch?

Absolutely not true. If it was true, then lots of people would not be able to move on with their lives after their spouses went out to get milk.

Every state has a procedure to divorce based on abandonment when one spouse cannot be located.

Talk to a lawyer.

I did talk to 2 lawyers and this is the law of the state of washington. I have to serve in person, via mail, or publication. I have to get permission from a judge to serve through mail or publication.

So, the two lawyers told you what you need to do to get a divorce. You need a court order to meet the alternative to serving him personally.

How are you getting that you can't divorce when you have two lawyers telling you that you can if you follow the prescribed procedure when you can not locate your husband?

Your statement that you cannot divorce him without serving him is completely wrong.

Don't know why you aren't getting it.

Your statement that you cannot divorce him because you can't serve him is completely wrong.

No, the US Embassy is not going to help you locate him.

Why can't you get a court order allowing you to meet the requirement by publication to divorce him.

You have two Washington lawyers telling you how to divorce without serving your husband.

Service by publication means you buy an ad in the legally recognized newspaper where you live stating that MR John Doe you have been named in a legal process in the court at 123 Main street ( or whatever words your state requires ) You need to get permission from the court before using this route by showing that either you don't know where he is for a long time or your can't serve him in a manner acceptable to the court ( you case is a hybrid of this he is out of the country AND you don't have a valid address )

i have no way to do the publication or an address to send it to, what part of that dont you understand? I know what im talking about. It has to be in the area of where he was last known to be, which is in morocco.

i can not do a publication where i am because he is not here. if the consulate can not help locate him does anyone know about doing a publication in el jadida? I want people that actually know about morocco to answer not someone like

Take a deep breath Your brain is overloaded

Lets say you live in beautiful Seattle Washington. The local courts there have decided on what newspaper official announcements must be posted in such as the Seattle Daily News. They will use if for foreclosures and business licencees and other official items posted ( replaces the town crier and the post in the town square from when I was young ) It is local to YOU not him. So you will petition the court to serve him notice by publication under the case of defendant's whereabouts unknown. There are probably local proofs you need to show you have made legally valid attempts to find his address. ( which may include sending a certified letter to his last known address ( your house )) Once you get permission you buy the ad and post the required words. ( specific to your court but basically informing MR So-and-so that he has been named as a defendant and should contact the court and/or a lawyer )
