You and I are not talking about ss disability, we're talking about the retirement part of ss. People who are under retirement age and need or want ss disability payouts are a different ball game. The abuse of the ss system on the disability level is enormous, that part of the system needs a complete overhaul. SS disability has become an extension of unemployment benefits for many who can work but chose not to and there are far too many fraudulent cases of people who aren't truly disabled. The amount of fraud makes it very hard for the people who truly need the disability payments to get them.

Well actually one of my first posts in this thread was about disability, so yeah I was talking about SS in general not only retirement. I understand there is abuse in the system, but for the people who really need it, it's not working. First you almost automatically get denied, then you have to get an attorney, and 2 years later after giving them a chunk of your money you might end up with something, and again the whole credits thing - just dumb. Anyway now I'm really going to do some work lol

sorry but, life is chaos. choices are great and we do have them but at the same time, stuff happens. life happens. some people have, through no choice of their own, financial responsibilities to people other than themselves. it seems absurd to me to think that personal financial choices should be lone predictor of a person's quality of life during working years and "retirement". it's totally unrealistic. it all comes down to how uncontrollable factors AND personal choices manipulate a person's 'prime working years'.

If you can't afford children, you should have your tallywhacker chopped off.

further, if poor folk secretly have a child and cannot prove their financial superiority the general public can assume this offspring carries insuperior poor genes, passed on by their financially weak parents. nothing can be done but a monthly sweep of all ghettos, wherein any and all children found without proper parental financial worth will be gathered in a common area and exterminated via firing squad for all the poor still tallywhackered folks to see. probably should make a reality show out of it. live? like that new cops show?

and trump saw what he hath made, and it was good

If you work two jobs to support your family, feed them and keep a roof over their heads but fail to invest properly for retirement, you might just be expendable.

i believe we have established that working people are expendable until proven otherwise. born rich, you ain't got to prove a damn thing.

i forgot to mention, bullets for the firing squad will be paid for out of a poor tax which is to be levied upon the grandparents of the too poor to live babies lest we worker bees forget poverty is generational.

It has been established in this thread that the word "poverty" is now replaced with the phrase "poor choices". This will help alleviate any guilt that may be felt by the firing squads when they execute people who are no longer poor, but have simply made "poor choices".
