Also from my understanding we can just ignore my wife's biometrics appointment for her EAD renewal tomorrow, right?

My wife got approved on a Tuesday, and she had her biometrics for EAD renewal on that Friday. We called USCIS and they contacted the office to let them know why she was not going to show up.

Good morning to everyone!! Very excited to see Camtor's approval this morning. I know we are still waiting for quite a bit of old timers to get that long awaited approval. Hoping and praying you all get that approval soon. The best of luck to all of you all!!

Yes, call early, the earlier you call the less time you have to wait for the call back. Just let tier 1 know if you have to show up even though you were recently approved, they'll have no idea what to tell you and they will offer to transfer you.

1 It has been 6 weeks since we contacted Ombudsman.

2 12 says since we contacted our Congressman.

3 We have been approved for EAD Renewal but they lost our AP application and have to refile.

4 It have been 13 months since we filed AOS.

5 It has been almost 10 months since we received NPIW.

I am also ranting

It has been 11 months since I filed for AOS . I am hoping I will get approved next month which is the 12th month of waiting .I contacted congressman a month ago ,got the reply says NPIW case take 9-12 months . Nothing new is heard .

Yeah they say up to 45 days, however they said to Movin On they are behind, does it remind you of any other place behind?

NO.all they said is if we can assist with your case ,expect a reply WITHIN 45 days ,if we cant assist ,we will let you know shortly . I was not expecting it will take exactly 45 days or more to get a reply .

Status: Card Was Mailed To Me

Ok the card was mailed but there is no tracking number. They already messed up with me EAD/AP combo card before and I took long drive just to get it in my old address. I called today and as usual I waited 1 hour and they told me to call tomorrow because they cant locate the tracking number. I have read some of the posts here that their GC didnt arrive on their mail box. Hopefully I get that tracking number tomorrow because I've waited a year to be approved and any problem after that is too much to handle.

Thanks Walgreens but I'd rather not spend the $24.00 for four passport photos at all. USCIS don't actually use the photos for anything. If they would just pull their finger out and press 'approve' I could spend this money on other things.

I got a letter from a USCIS in New York (not sure why there) that my I-693 medical exam document is now expired. Because it's taken them almost a year to open the case... I'm not sure if this is a good sign or not - maybe they'll finally do something with it. It says to send in a updated I-693 within 30 days.

It mean as soon as you get the new medical to them you should be approved within a couple weeks, it is a good thing.

Wow, unbelievable! I am so sorry. Well, I guess if you can hold out till your second wedding anniversary then you will be the 10yr green card and then you won't have to go through the ROC. We are starting to think that is our best bet now. We welcome you here! Thanks for joining us!

1 year, 21 days over here! USCIS received my RFE response (for the expired medical and proof of on-going marriage) as of yesterday. Hoping to hear from them soon!
