Bem,while I agree with you that they need to update us (those who have pending interviews), I don't think it fair for you to request theirs when you cannot update your timeline for others behind you

hello

i was tracking my case on ceac

i noticed this change:

Status: READY

Status Updated Date:24-Dec-2014

before itt was

Status: READY

Status Updated Date: 17-Dec-2014

the so the status was ready in 17 Dec but the update changed to Dec 24. what does this mean?

Every time you case is touched, looked at ,dated with information they update i.t Doesn't mean anything sinister is going on. Remember they too are prepping for an interview. So they are investigating checking and dong things also. How else you think they know what to ask you at interview.

We received our CC at the NVC on November 14, and received our P4 on December 4. Our interview is January 23 in Santo Domingo. I've been checking the CEAC website and our case still shows "At NVC" as of today January 1.

Should we be concerned? It seems like the date is getting close. What will the message change to after the embassy receives the file?

I received my P4 email yesterday, and I just noticed the subject of email was AMM2014******* (STD P4 APP (25NOV2014)).

So what does (STD P4 APP (25NOV2014)) mean?

Just NVC tomorrow to make sure everything is okay. I wouldn't worry long as the documents is there day of interview is all that matters. People seem to think it arrives weeks ahead and that isn't always the case.

When it arrives at embassy it changes to READY and thats when you start seeing case status updates.

The 01 is the #1 of cases if you had other cases like I have a fried who has her and 2 ids all each with their own case #1 but it's 01, 02, 03 and of course the CDJ of the consulate is all.

example if there were multiple case flies attached to you thats what the 01 is.
