I just want to make sure that I meet the AOS requirement.

If I made:

2013- $23,500

2012- $20,500

2011-$4,700

And its only me and my husband (household size 2). Does my earning meet the 125% of poverty line?

Thank you for all your replies :)

$19,662 is the amount required for a household of 2. So you are fine as long as you currently make that much. Here is a link:

Assuming you still make the same amount as you did in 2013- or more- yes you are fine.

The biggest question is "is your current above" showing that with pay-stubs and employment letter.

What docuements do I need to show my employment and that I make around the same amount from 2013? I already have my tax transcript from 2011-2013.

What supplemental income can I use to help me with my AOS? Can I declare my retirement plan?

Thank you.

And about how many paystub do I need to submit for my AOS? thanks

A letter of employment and/or paystubs is what you would use to prove your "current" income. In our case we submitted both. For a cousin of mine, only the most recent paystub was sufficient, since it had the Year-to-date amount, their sponsor was unable to get a letter of employment. It really is either or.

If you have any assets that you want to use, you can, but it's unnecessary since you already make above the required amount. If you're concerned that you don't make "enough" over the minimum, don't be. They have those numbers there for a reason and as long as you make that or more, it doesn't matter "how much" more.

They will base their decision on what you are currently making. So if you are still making what you made in 2013, you should be fine. A household of 2 is about $20k a year.
