i am greencard holder , i sponsored my husband in pakistan , our priority date is 28th oct 2013 and my i130 got approved this month and nvc recived my case yesterday , how long do you think it will take my husband to get visa ...please help

You should be following the NVC filers thread.

The NVC process once your file gets to NVC and you get a case # (which could take up to 2 months) can take 2 months to get through then another 2 months or so of waiting for interview.

Just focus now on getting through NVC.

As far as your priority date are you current have you checked the Visa bulletin.? I have no idea about it you should check.

Then you have some time to wait until it becomes current. I have no idea how fast it goes. Its a few weeks is months or years don't know. Sorry.

Just wanted to update, My husbands interview was in Guatemala, they asked for a co-sponsor, We re did my sponsorship forms, and added assets, We rescheduled The week of January the 6th, his following interview was scheduled on February 25th, where he passed, now we are Filing the i-601. I will keep posted on how long this takes, becuase there is very little information on people who have expedited been approved, and for the time this i-601 takes, From what I can tell its going to take longer the his i-130 I pray it does not.

Based on the FAQs for this thread, I noticed that it takes about a week after getting verbal confirmation from NVC about a case being complete to get an e-mail notice.

I called the NVC yesterday and was told that my case had been approved on November 26th and I should get notification soon. Someone in another forum topic said I should hear something by this Thursday.

When I do receive notice will it just state that my case was approved? OR...will it also include the date for the interview? Does that come later?

I was slightly confused reading about the different letters/notices people receive earlier in this thread. Thanks so much for any clarification.

Also, do applicants for different visas have different wait times for scheduling interviews. I've noticed that some visa types for the embassy in Abu Dhabi wait longer/shorter times depending on the visa type. For example, K1 vs. IR1/CR1. Thanks!

No the P4 letter is the Interview letter. The case complete letter is a separate thing. Thats what I was referring to the case complete letter.
