We got our interview date! Feb13. It has not been mailed out yet...I called NVC this morning. I will wait to update the list since I don't have the date that the consulate received it yet. I have some questions about the interview letter though...it says the bring the original civil documents to the interview. But 1) we sent original ones to NVC and 2) other than the police certificate, everything else was marked that it was sent to NVC or not requested on the letter. So is that statement just generally apply to everyone no matter what their list looks like? Really all my husband should bring is his medical, the interview letter, passport, and further proof of bonafide marriage (photos etc.) right?

Congratulations . I can update, I have a few dates to inout anyway.. The date the consulate gets it is no matter to the dates. The dates we report is case complete date, date you found out the interview date and date of interview.

Also look again at your checklist they have checked on their what you are required to take and what you already sent in. Yes thats a generic statement. Whatever you sent to NVC you do not have to bring originals for unless they specifically list it.

And yes all the things he should bring you listed is right on. This is the time you can bring the whole kitchen sink if you want and those frilly foo foo albums. LOL

around the list by clicking back space just before "do not delete"
5. Always use [Courier New] Font.(It will stay lined up correctly if you use the correct font.)
6. Add in order by NVC case complete date.
7. Add the date you received your interview date so others can see from case complete to assignment time-frame.
8. Please use your VJ member name not the Petitioner/Beneficiary name on your timeline.
9. Please update your timeline so VJ members can have accurate timelines to monitor their own case.

Yes and I forgot to mention the passport photos as part of what he needs. The Israeli police certificates automatically get sent to the consulate. So even tho I provided a copy in the IV packet, they still want that sent from the police station. Oh well. It seems like everything else has been sent from the NVC!

LOL I'm the overly prepared type, as my I-130 packet had pages and pages of our relationship evidence. But, my husband is not the frilly foo foo type. It will take a lot of convincing to get him to bring all that mushy evidence stuff with him.

On a side note- i'm visiting him at the moment to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. What a great anniversary present in finding out his interview date yesterday!

Just received an email from the NVC and our Immigration Lawyer today; Case completed at NVC on December 27, 2013. Interview date (P4) on February 4, 2014.
