firstly, i was suspended for a week coz i attached a pic of my wife in her standard attire, a mini-skirt! why? isnt that only illegal in iran or saudi arabia? they were NOT porn pix unless you're from over there. now to my topic, if the moderators will allow it.

as some of you know my thai wife will soon file her VAWA abuse adjustment of status app. if she hasnt already. (came in on K-1, married within 90 days, huge age difference, married less than 17 months, no conditional card yet, missed two interviews already) we're not divorced yet and she hasnt yet filed to. i'm on one side of USA and she's on another. she emails me often but refuses to tell me who she lives with (a "customer", a countrymate girl, or in a shelter?)or what shes been doing these last 6 weeks of torture. she cannot dance anymore coz i showed her former club the letter saying her work card is revoked. she worked anyway for four months there. she has no passport or k-1 visa or i-94, it all got stolen, she says, from the hotel room?? she only has our states issued ID card and thats it. she has no access to any proof of our marriage such as tax returns, pix together, bills together, etc.. coz they're all over here in our house. she is not a resident of the state she's in now and has no real address there i guess. and her cell is usually disconnected to all, family included! so i am so curious as to how long it is gonna take her to get another "work card" so she can return to dancing+? she has emailed me that as soon as possible she will return to that lifestyle coz the money is too good to refuse. she wouldnt last long at $10 an hour anywhere, after $70-100 an hour dancing. i am sure the uscis is investigating our whole case for fraud/good intentions/good "moral" character, etc.. i hope they do.

so, how long do you think its gonna take her to get a new work card considering all the red flags her whole filing has? maybe if it takes long enuf she'll just bail and go back to mom. it'd be better for her safety if she did. she's very naieve about the whole business she's become addicted to. no pic this post!

Couple of things, this is a private site, they get to make the rules. I have some issues with the heavy handedness of a mod on here but it's his playground so he gets to pass gas downwind in camp, it's just the way it is.

Second, you're going to have to let this go and move the truck down the road. File for divorce, give USCIS the info that you have and move on with your life. Usually people that think they've one upped someone unfairly usually get their comeuppance.

I think once you accept that she's a grown Woman that played a good game and won, sort of, then you can start rebuilding your life. There are more of her whence she came from.

Bil, if you are looking to get a divorce you can file yourself in your state. You do not need to wait for her to file first.

Why do you care? I ask this with the outmost respect.

She may be morally flexible enough to bend the rules. You file for your divorce and do your stuff. Let her worry about her paper and paperwork.

If her I-485 is pending she can file I-360 along with I-765 and she will get the EAD in 90 days,if she doesn't have a pending I-485 she can file form I-360 but she won't be able to get EAD before the I-360 approval.The I-360 is taking around 14 months to be adjudicated.

It seems she has a pending I-485, because you said she didn't attend two interviews, well maybe you didn't show up, but maybe she attended the interview and asked USCIS to hold the I-485 until decision of the I-360 and USCIS always accept that!. USCIS will issue the EAD without considering the "fraud allegations". The fraud allegations will be analyzed when USCIS will adjudicate her case I-485 not the I-765.

I agree with GoWon, it is time to get on with your live and put her behind you. file for the divorce and cancel her 864 or you could find yourself paying if she starts getting foodstamps, ECT. Sounds like she is filling abuse in the marriage because she knows that will justify her leaving and she can get her green card anyway. "standard attire"? and you kept mentioning that she was a dancer. Obviously this is really getting under your skin. If she's working as an exotic dancer there's nothing illegal about that so she's not breaking the good moral part of her immigration. Being busted for prostitution would be a violation. And maybe she has filed for divorce and you just haven't received the papers yet or maybe she just hasn't filed them yet. And why were you even trying to post her picture?
