Should Buy One way or Round Trip ticket?

Trip on K1 visa to US, should i buy One Way ticket or Round trip one? Please advice.

just throwing it out there,i have seen a couple of people who got in trouble with the airline ,they had k-1s and one way tickets,but since the airline...person wasnt informative enough,they refused to let the passenger on board,though they will need round tickets.

its not really that big of a deal,in all situations in eventually worked out,but you should call your airline and check and make sure they know k-1 is a " one way visa"

if you buy a round trip ticket and use it one way to the us. notify the air line that you won't be useing the return flight to cancel the ticket,the border petrol keeps a record.

It is not absolutely necessary. There are many people on here would bought return tickets and never cancelled the return.

Ann and I went with what was cheapest. This meant a round-trip ticket for me purchased here in the U.S. through Korean Air (I am accompanying her and her son back to the States) and two one-way tickets purchased by Ann in the Philippines through a travel agent for the same flights on which I am booked.
