Only one person interviewing K1 and K3 applicants. He read our packet for 4-5 min., then asked my wife 4 very basic questions (about 3 minutes). He would not allow me, Husband, to stand with my wife at the interview window and did not want to ask me any questions. Strange given the main goal is to prove a valid marriage. 4/22 - the US Embassy Immigration Visa dept. no longer takes phone calls - there is no way to speak to a human. They only accept emails and take days to respond and most "answers" are canned (pre-written) and may not actually answer your question. I wrote numerous time requesting an estimated time for the packet 4 notice - they refused to provide an estimate. Lucky for us, the IV dept. provided it within 5 weeks. 2008-06-06
