Still waiting for the decision, but they already received my files and I also included a receipt showing I-944 shouldn't apply in our case. AOS Interview Experience (Guam) Our schedule was at 8:00 am in the morning. We arrived at USCIS around 7:30am. We went inside at around 7:55 am. The officer was late, and the interview started around 8:20 am. I was called in first. I was asked to do an oath. Questions asked: · Basic info · How did we meet? · If I met his parents? · If he met my parents? Then she noticed that we were together for 5 years and I already visited him a lot before we applied for K1. I travelled to see him 1-2 times a year. Then she said “Oh, you’ve been together long”. After that she started organizing our papers. She said everything needs to be reviewed, and I do not need to redo my medical. Although our papers look okay to her, she said I needed to include I-944. Our application was postmarked before Feb 24, I didn’t answer back, even though I know that it shouldn’t apply to our case, as I haven’t checked USCIS website before our interview and the policy might have changed without me knowing. She called in my 2 k2s and my husband. She just asked us to answer the YES/NO questions in the form and let me sign it afterwards. Everything went well aside from the possible RFE. Interview lasted for around 30 minutes since the YES/NO questions took a lot of time for us 3. My husband was not asked about anything. The next day, status changed to RFE notice was sent. I start the preparing the papers for submission, I have them ready when I am preparing to submit our AOS. We received the RFE notice by November 25. I sent the response November 27. With the response, I included a cover letter noting that our applications are postmarked before Feb 24 and quoted USCIS official website. I also included a copy of our FedEx receipt and tracking history I printed from online. RFE was delivered to our local USCIS office on November 30. We got approved around 2 weeks after. Things I submitted for I-944: - Photocopy of College Diploma & Transcript (Non-Evaluated) - My Certifications for my job - Bank Statements of household - Land Titles - Car Ownership Certification 2024-01-08

TreyH S & T K1 Washington DC 2019-09-19 2019-09-22 2019-10-17 2020-12-08 2020-12-17 Yes 2020-12-26 Interview: The officer could not have been nicer and was making jokes the entire time. We did have to wait about 20 minutes after our appointment time which he apologized for twice. Once we got seated he said that the file looked perfect (his words) and that he didn't have any questions for me (the petitioner). He asked some random questions to get us talking and more comfortable chatting with him (normal small talk). Then he said he was going to talk to my wife while I looked for anything in my giant binder I thought he should have for the file. (He said he didn't need anything but that if I wanted to add I could) He went through the full application with my wife asking her birthday, places she has worked, parents names and professions and just kept checking off as he went along. Also went through about half of the Yes/No questions such as if she wanted to spy on America or be a terrorist. Then I explained all the papers I wanted to add to file such as more pictures, financial stuff and so on. He made a comment again how I didn't need to give him anything else but thanked me for them. He then explained that he had to go through the case one more time and said it would be his 4th time reading through it. He then asked if we understood the process that it would be a two year greencard if approved and then if with him or an American citizen you could apply for a 10 year green card or citizenship at 3 years and then we all laughed about it. He then asked if we had any more questions and I asked him about if he had anymore cases today and just general questions about how things have changed with covid. Overall it was a great experience and the officer could have not been nicer and was making jokes the whole time and seemed to just enjoy his job and talking with us. By the time we got home the case status had updated to "Interview Was Completed And My Case Must Be Reviewed". 9 Days letter changed to card being produced. 2025-02-18

Now waiting to receive the GC! INTERVIEW: After my change of address, my interview was in Kansas City, MO. Everything went very smooth. The IO was extremely nice and handled the whole interview as a nice and simple conversation. First, asked me (beneficiary) to confirm the I-485 personal information. Then, made the same process for my husband. Followed with the "yes" or "no" questions on form I-485 to me. In the middle of these questions, he asked my husband the date of our marriage. Kept going with the questions. After he finished the questions, we had more conversation about the relationship in general, than asked me about how was the proposal, who attended to our wedding, how was the reception... Everything as a pleasant conversation. After all the questions, he asked if I had any pictures to show him. I handled the photo album (he didn't even see all the pictures), just asked about a few of them such as our trip for our 1st anniversary, and said that my husband and I was a lovely couple. Than after that, he asked if I wanted to add any other documents to my case, I gave him joint bank statements and health insurance cards. I wanted to handle him more documents (since I didn't send nothing with the application besides tax return), but he said he had more than enough. And that was it. He explained the situation of conditional GC (less than 2 years marriage), how to renew it and than said we would have a response about the case later that day or in the next morning. Next day afternoon we received the very good news that our case was approved! 2020-12-18
