  1. it seems like average time is 2-3 months after interview
  2. Yes it sucks. It is out of our control and our petition is going to expire this month too, according to approval letter and we have no clue about what to do in the future.
  3. Does anyone have experience anything like this before ? what is the process when embassy cancel an interview appointments due to emergency ?

Our appointment got cancelled due to protest in Islamabad on November 1st 2019 and we can't reschedule our appointment because we are not seeing any option to reschedule an interview appointment on the website. We called an embassy couple of time and person on the phone said embassy will contact us but we have not been contacted by embassy at all neither embassy send us a cancellation of appointment notification. Any advice, guidance or experience will be appreciated about where and who should we contact ?
  5. i got following email in first week of September and should i just wait for packet 3 and packet 4 . Can you please guide me through complete process you went through. The National Visa Center (NVC) received your fiancé (e)’s/spouse’s approved I-129F petition from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). NVC will now forward the petition to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in Islamabad, Pakistan. Please note that the transfer process can take several weeks. The U.S. Embassy or Consulate will contact your fiancé (e)/spouse when they are ready to process his or her petition.
