Honestly, I feel briefly stupider every time I read some of these know-nothing posts by people who appear to subsist on a diet of Infowars, Breitbart and VDARE. I'm no longer a dainty young miss, and need to hold on to all my brains.
Luckily the effects are passing. I recommend reading the Economist -- it's a bracing antidote.

Teddy B brings up a good point - I have no patience for Islamist apologetics or this administration's dilly dallying around the truly creepy ideology that is Islamism. It's called radical Islamism, it should be called such and it should be discouraged at every level.
Islamism and white nationalism however, same thing, different wrapping. Watching Richard Spencer saying hail anything is downright creepy, and I sure as hell don't appreciate the incoming Trump administration failing to give them a good, firm middle finger.

The topic has changed. I know we are weary from the election, but moving on to the debate about infrastructure is moving on to the next thing. Trump has promised a revolution but he needs to work through Congress to implement that. Bernie and other Democrats have said they would work together on some topics and now Bernie is warning against bait and switch.
